Going Missing Again, Just Days This Time

I’m going to be a bit quieter for a short while, and I wanted to say that rather than just disappear again, especially as I’m really enjoying reconnecting and making new connections here.

This isn’t me stopping or losing interest. It’s just a brief pause while I deal with something that has to be done. I’ve learned it’s better to acknowledge that than pretend nothing’s happening.

Over the last couple of weeks, as I’ve revisited the core training and other parts of the new platform, I’ve noticed something shift for me. Not in terms of tactics or results, but in how the whole process feels. There’s less pressure to constantly push, post, or react, and more confidence that stepping away for a few days doesn’t undo the work already done.

That’s new for me, and it matters.

In the past, whenever something started to gain traction, on site or in my own head, my instinct was always to take more on. More thinking, more ideas, more output, more interaction. I’ve learned the hard way that this usually leads to burnout, even if not the full-blown version, rather than real progress.

So this time, I’m choosing to hold back a little and move forward steadily instead of crashing on with more tasks.

I may be offline or less visible for a few days while I deal with this, but it’s nothing too dramatic and nothing negative. Just a new knee hahaha. I’ll be back shortly and will pick things up where I left off.

One rule I’ve come to believe in is this: if something falls apart the moment you step away for a short time, it was never as solid as you thought. Being able to pause without stress, and without feeling like you’re losing ground, is progress in itself.

I’ll catch up properly once things settle. Just being on here is already a positive part of recovery, and that should be later this week.
