My First Few Days
I joined this site about 5 days ago and I feel like I've accomplished quite bit so far and not quite enough. I don't know what I was expecting or thinking when I first joined, but what I've learned here so far is more information than I was prepared for but better than a few other sites that I had tried and failed. The Image above I find peaceful, relaxing and yet encouraging to keep moving forward but don't forget to take a break and enjoy the simple things.
About 2 years ago I tried a site that had you build a website using funnels and other stuff that I was not familiar with to generate high traffic quickly and I tried and followed their stupid step by step process and spent more money and never earned anything and the stupid funnel thing never worked anyway, it did when I did the test check but when I checked from an outside source on a friend computer without logging in, it didn't work, so really I wasted money that I didn't really have I think it was the Push Button System. I probably should have done a little more research before joining.
Since this is an Affiliate Marketing site where you learn to become an Indipendant Affiliate Marketer I set up a Facebook page just to help me advertise Wealthy Affiliates using my unique link to get others to join, I've had a lot of clicks or views but no one has joined, I was also thinking I could use this same page to direct people to my websites to help bring in some traffic and possibly sign ups in the future to while I am still working with building my current websites and making more post and updating and adding to current post.
Obviously building each website takes time before you start generating any traffic and that is fine. I find writing relaxing and sometimes fun. I would feel better about all of this if I could manage to encourage at least 1-5 people to join in the next few days. I've an idea to try but that might not work. It does't hurt to try though right.
I am just venting a bit while I am thinking about what to post next on my website that will have enough keywords to maybe bring in some traffic. I like Wealthy Affiliate so far and I am sure I can make this work for me, I just have to be patient.

Hi Miranda, we all learn the most from our mistakes, I think. And if those mistakes took you to WA and made you appreciate what you've got here, then this might have been for the best.
I wish you all the best with your websites, it looks like you're onto something. Try your idea for getting more people to join, and see where it takes you!
