Why Go Yearly at Wealthy Affiliate?
I thought this might be a good time to share a little insight into my latest choice to go yearly with Wealthy Affiliate. Before I hit the yearly button , I actually started to cancel. TWICE. But I've been around now for over a couple years and my progress has been embarrassingly slow. I've learned a lot. I have accumulated lists and marketed to those lists. I watched my lists become more and more unresponsive as I applied techniques suggested by what I considered to be more experienced advisers. Initially, I was taught to do it by building a website and establishing a presence online, with articles, keyword research, videos, images and the like. Well, of course I felt like there had to be a better, quicker way than this. So I became a shiny object junkie and tried everything under the sun only to end up in this place that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. Yeah, that's right, lost, confused, disgruntled, hurt, broke, (as far as any internet marketing profit is concerned), disillussioned, doubtful, no plan, no niche, no nothing. And on and on and on.
But I thought about this program and there were actually several things that occurred to me. I paid for personal 1 0n 1 coaching before. I've been in several memberships. I know what to do to make money in this business. So what's the problem, Robert? Why are you not successful now. Maybe you're just a failure, maybe you're just lazy and want somebody to do it all for you. Maybe, secretly, you're just a bum. No, none of the above.
Do you remember as a child when your mother or father told you over and over again not to do that certain thing because it was not good for you, but you did it anyway? Remember they gave you the exact formula for success, but you had to do it your way. After your way didn't work, then you started thinking about what they told you.
For me it was Kyle. What he was saying was not new to me. The WAY he explained it is what finally caught hold for me. I believe the methods being taught here are going to work for me. And I also realized that I can get all the coaching I need right here. Probably better than I received elsewhere because now I'm part of something as opposed to going it alone.
The reason why I went yearly is because I know I'm wishy, washy and this would keep me from quitting on a whim like I know I'm very capable of doing. The saving money part was just an extra perk for me. The fact thare all levels of experience here ready and willing to help you out and answer any question you may have is a very valuable asset. I get stuck a lot so now I can just just go to the chat and shout out a problem and someone will try to answer it. That's huge for me.
I still have to figure out some things as far as a blog is concerned, but I know that if I want long term stability in this business I will have to do the work up front and be willing to offer value that people can use.
So now I have to trust myself that I will stay disciplined and do the work that I know I can do. Kyle shows you in a way that makes you see that you can actually do this if you just follow the instructions that are already laid out for you.

I can relate to the wishy-washy thing... aside from not knowing if I would have the money later on, I also became yearly so I wouldn't quit. It sounds counterintuitive because I love it here, but all it takes is one moment of indecision to push me in that direction.
Thanks Leblanc, it's easy to get distracted. My plan now is to draw a straight line and stay on it
Well said, Robert. I believe that we have all the tools here and all the support too. And I, for one, am going to personally hold you accountable for staying disciplined and doing the work. I'll be following you and I'll be watching your progress. You can do it!

Hi Robert,
I also went yearly after I tried out WA for one week. I thought that this was really a great place to learn how to become a successful online marketer. All I had to do was to follow the guidance and use the tools developed by Kyle and Carson.
When I first joined, there were limited of choices that each WA member has today. We did not have WordPress, but the old SiteRubix to build your website. You had to know HTML. I did not know this code and it took me a long time just to learn it and develop by sites.
I want to express my support for your decision on becoming a yearly member of WA. You get three months of WA for free. Now, that's what I call a bargain and a substantial savings to the pocketbook.
I want to wish you all the best here at WA. Everything starts slowly at first. This was true for me. Keep following Kyle's and Caron's advice and the courses you get all with your annual fee.
Have a wonder day!
George
Thanks George
