Making progress

I believe I'm finally making progress. In order to do things right you have to take the time to learn the rules. Once you know the rules, it makes it much easier to get it done correctly. There really are no shortcuts that I know of. There are programs, I mean software that can help make some tasks easier. I love that kind of software, but anyway getting back to the point. You know getting through these classes has been an eye-opener for me. It has caused me to look back and reevaluate my whole situation. I keep leaving and coming back. I don't mean to, it's just that there is that shiny object syndrome, the emails, all the distractions. I never knew what I had when I first got here. The more I stay here and learn the more I realize that everything I need is right here. I'm starting to see what drove me away at other times. The fact is, when I had to do some work like try to figure out something to write, my mind strayed and then I rather consciously or subconsciously went looking for something easier to do. One of the great things about being in the wealthy affiliate program is that when you submit a post there is a guarantee that someone will read it. That doesn't happen out in the real world, I'll call it. What I mean is, this is a private world within its own self that is complete with training and it's very success oriented.

We're all here trying to help each other succeed, So people are reading to support and offer comments and it's just a beautiful thing.

My progress so far has been very slow because of my own fault. I'm wondering if I can take this article and somehow direct it towards some of the new people that are here. I mean, some of the really new people that have not yet been victim of the shiny object syndrome and the constant bombardment of emails that promise to make you rich in ridiculously short periods of time. If you go out of this environment while you're trying to learn how to make money online and be successful as an affiliate or whatever, then I believe you're going to be making a big mistake. You should embrace Wealthy Affiliate as your home away from home or your home online or your boot camp like in the Army. I wish I could come up with the words to make you understand that you are in the right place right now and that this is all you need.

The big secret of succeeding online lies within oneself. This the same as succeeding with anything, you just keep going until you reach the top. It's actually just as simple as that. The fact is, this particular program makes it so much easier.

I'm going to be documenting my progress from time to time. First I'm going to have to trust that if I make a commitment I actually stick to it. I've actually been in this program for quite a while I just never really gave it a decent chance. But that's okay, everything happens in its own time.
