SAILING OFF THE EDGE OF THE WORLD.

In 1492, the great Christopher Columbus discovered the New World. It was land that literally did not exist. Leading scholars of Columbus' day, actually believed the world was flat and that if the ships of that day sailed too far west, they would literally fall off the planet into nothingness.

COLUMBUS KNEW BETTER.

Intelligent and courageous beyond his time, Columbus believed that all those smart people were wrong. His belief in historical data, science and math convinced the Spanish Royalty to invest in a crazy journey. Columbus took three ships to charting a course straight west.

A STAR AND A SEXTANT WAS HIS GUIDE.

Utilizing the North Star as his guide, a Sexton as his instrument, and ink and paper as his record. Columbus proposed to sail his ships to the Far East, China, by sailing west. Columbus believed this because?

-Foreign ships had, evidently, done it before.

-The North Star would be a constant guide.

-Upon returning, a map of direction would be created/published. Proper preparations could be readied.

WHY COLUMBUS?

I have for over a decade viewed the internet, in my own sense, as the New World. A land full of riches and adventure. It was just that too many times I ventured into it's waters too far, I fell off the edge into nothingness. The internet has so much to offer, but I never wanted to take the time to read a map or prepare for the crazy journey. I never took enough time to look at a chart/map created by someone who had successfully navigated their way.

NOW COMES WEALTHY AFFILIATE.

Wealthy Affiliate is the social website for the "Online Columbus" in all of us. It the the direction I have always needed, but never had. WA is numerous like-minded entrapraneual people working together with common goals. Common goals, to a certain level. That level is to become an independent income earner and that is often can be somewhere unknown, I believe it exists and I believe anyone can find thier way."Online Columbus" is a great name, but I cannot use it, because it belongs to Wealthy Affiliate.
