Here are two new technologies based on solar energy:
Highways with solar energy
TOKYO HAS RECENTLY ANNOUNCED PLANS to build solar roads to help his 2020 Olympic Games become an ecological event. These experimental roads are made with solar charging panels that are covered in a special resin, according to the newspaper El Independent.
Cars can drive on these durable roads while panels generate electricity for adjacent communities.

Last year, solar-powered pavement technology was also tested along Route 66. If roads that use solar technology work, it could help encourage the use of clean energy in the US. It would seem that solar energy is every where now. We have one of the largest hospitals here and half of it, at this time is run by solar energy.
Some of our schools are to. Its amazing to see all the panels our town has to help run some of the businesses here as well. Several of our hotels have solar panels covering the roof.
