New Beginnings After 4 Years

My WA journey started 4 years ago. I can still remember the first time I signed up and started the training.

I was so excited and glued to my computer for the first week. I just knew from the get-go I'm going to learn a lot on this platform and I did.

For the first couple of months, I was "WA crazy", but I also had a 9 to 5 job. Juggling my time was tricky, but I never gave up.

About a year into my WA journey, I lost my job. I managed to stay afloat from what I learned here at WA.

Today, I'm still working for myself and I'm happy with where I am.

The only downside is that I more or less abandoned by own websites to make time for my clients.

Last year I decided I really want to make time for my websites again. I started a brand new website, but I only have the "shell" at the moment. I need to start adding some content and get it off the ground.

I've decided to do the Online Entrepreneur Course again. I think it would be a nice refresher. I also want to record my progress and add my own personal notes to it. I'll share it with the WA community.

How many times have you completed the Online Entrepreneur training?

Thanks

Rika

Rika, thank you for this experiential testimony, part of the reasons why I come to the platform every evening after work is to read stuff like this. Fate can play games, prepped you up a year before you lost your job, and you grasped the chance with both hands. That now you have lived the life you want, where you get to have your own clients- great story.

You are right Chris. Fate is a funny thing, but one thing is sure; I'm happy I found WA when I did:)

Well, I have only been here a while and not yet thinking of going back to the start, Rika.

I have been thinking of having a couple of new starts. I think it would be great to have multiple websites maturing all at the same time. But like you said, it was hard to juggle your time between your business and a full-time job.

I can even manage now. I guess it will be a while before I start all over.

I wish you all the best in your new quest and hope you enjoy this leg of your journey.

Ntlhane

Thanks for your insight Ntlhane. I'm just going to concentrate on my new website for now. Taking on more than that is unrealistic for me at the moment.

Great Rika.

Rika what I like about this space is that everyone has a different path and story. I like that you were able to assist your clients with what you picked up here through the WA training. Hopefully with renewed focus you can truly return to your own websites and get them off and running. I have crisscrossed OEC several times and doing other WA classes and training. All very useful.

Hugh

Thanks for the comment Hugh. I just need to set my mind to it and get going.

Have a great day!

Exactly once you do that you are going to be well on your way

Each one of has us his own circumstances, obligations and commitments towards our loved ones and at the same time have their dreams to be successful.

For me it's been almost a month on WA as you said my glued to my laptop researching, commenting watching Kyle's training again and again as English is not my mother tongue I have to go trough the training at my own pace and am so exited to be here with great people it seems to me I know them from a long, I feel sorry for replying late to the post WA community as am doing a 9 to 5 job.

An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties it means it's going to launch you into something great. So just focus, and keep aiming...

All the best and a have successful journey

So true AGYusuf. English is also not my first language. I also started out slow and picked up some speed as time passed. As they say "practice makes perfect".

Have a wonderful day!

Thank you

Although I've not yet completed the OEC training, I've revisited level one and 2 several times to keep me on track.
There's no shame in starting over or revisiting modules. I see it as reinforcing your strategies to master your progress.

I agree Simone. I've also revisited some of the lessons a couple of times but decided it's not a bad idea to do the course from start to finish again.

I'm very curious to see what I've missed and never implemented the first time around and why.

I've done it a few times before I decided to focus on simply promoting my daily physical businesses, Simone! The training is always there for us to revisit! Compare that to the availability of re-taking classes at any university--that is simply unavailable!

Jeff

You will realise a lot on your second time around

That's so true Jeffrey. Value, value added value, all the time

Yes, indeed! It is GREAT!

Awesome :)
