I prefer the 1st one - the dark background tones do convey a bit of safety concern. I will go for the second if you want to capture peoples attention first (yum 🤣) while you talk about the safety bit in the blog post

I like the second one best. It sizzles more. It draws you in and gets you ready for a taste. You eat with your eyes first. Great job on both.
