Bing Keyword Ranking For Free Traffic

Just a quick update to all here at Wealthy Affiliate and a quick blog post about Bing keyword ranking, but first a bit of back ground .

I actually started with WA back in 2014, signed up for a free account and then got SHINY OBJECT SYNDORME. Some of you here at Wealthy Affiliate can relate, I know because I have seen and read your posts and training comments.

For those of you that don't know shiny object syndrome is when a person chases their tail around in circles because they are looking for that GET RICH QUICK GIG.

Most of us here at WA have finally realized that the reality is that it actually takes some work to make it online. Google, Bing and Yahoo have all become harder to rank your pages and posts on.

Any ways back to explain why I am actually writing this blog post. I finally realized after 4 years there were no quick and easy ways to make money online. At least not in my experience, I will confess that I spent a lot of money as well wasted a lot of time to find out. In short, I came back to wealthy affiliate in mid November 2018 .

A summary of my time since

I started with the basic free training, trying to forego everything that I had learned in the last 4 years. I believe my WA Rank was 147,886, not totally sure about this but it was up there. I dove straight into the training absorbing as much as I could, loved every minute of it !! I knew from the 2nd lesson Building Your Own Traffic Producing Website Level 2, I was hooked .

I quickly upgraded to the monthly membership and a few days later knew that I was in .

Enter your own correction... to the annual plan as it was a NO Brainer, I could save over 40%, if I remember correctly. I do have a bit of Scottish in me as well ...so, saving money is a good thing right ?

As I moved through the training I quickly realized I was feeling a bit awkward .. I was instructed to actually write quality content using keywords with low competition to make this journey successful ?

Well I had heard about keywords to rank in my previous online ventures, I had always been told to go after keywords with higher search volume. Now I am being told to write with the intent of chasing Google and Bing keyword ranking using words with lower volume ? I have to say it took me a while to grasp this concept.

So I begin writing, targeting low competition keywords.

I have to say that actually writing web posts was and still is a bit of a challenge. Thankfully with the support of the WA community and the excellent training I have been able to achieve this .

Honestly I never thought this was something I could do. I am not a writer or an expert in fact here is a quick run down of how I have managed to make my living so far in life

• Fisherman , started working at 1 years of age
• Logger
• Boom Man .. = logger on the water, for those that don't know
• Heavy equipment operator
• carpenters helper
• Realestate agent
• Heavy Equipment operator
• Home inspector
• Handy man, Current age just shy of 60 years old.

My point is that if I can do this anyone can !!

So how any hours a day did it take ?

When I am not working my full time job, usually 35 -45 hrs a week I am either eating, sleeping or working on creating quality content for Bing keyword ranking. Why Bing rankings you ask, well we all know that Google keyword ranking is King but Bing and Yahoo keyword rankings are the next best thing for free traffic

I have to apologize that I haven't been as active in the WA community I would like to be, This is reflected in my current Wealthy Affiliate Ranking. I was ranked at 207 before the updates in the New year. I do vow to help any member who asks me any question they have. The best way to contact me is to PM my inside WA, as I will get notified.

Ok Back to the reason I am writing this

So as you can tell by now I am almost normal. As many members here, even with all the great training, I struggled to select my niche .

I did not want to mess up as I was feeling I did not want to FAIL online again. So I decided to switch from the Online Entrepreneur Certification to the Affiliate Bootcamp training. Due to the fact it was noted to be "best for getting started in the affiliate marketing niche "

So away I went, and like many started with my review of Wealthy Affiliate along with 22 other post based on keywords with low competition as instructed .

Side note, I decided to switch Niches after watching Kyle s live training webinar, The 7 factor Secret Sauce . Man what was I thinking !! Any way I started my second site, head down and writing articles and then it happened .

Bing Keyword Ranking Results

My first site was starting to get some traffic and earn some Adsense revenue .. While the traffic was and still is low by success standards it was actually happening.

The results of using Jaxxy keyword tool to search out low competition keywords was working. My keywords and posts were actually ranking, I was and still am excited about this .

In fact my first site, as of today has 3 post indexed on the first page in Bing

So what now, what should I do I am thinking ? What's my next move ... and then it happens again . I get notified that someone has excepted my invitation to Wealthy affiliate, referred through my first site, and then again, and again 7 in total in the last 2 weeks .

So back to my 2nd site that I started Dec 20 2018, It currently has approximately 19 posts on it and as of monday, January 28 2019 my Bing Keyword Ranking results are 4 post on the first page of search results .

Sorry about the quality of the screen shots... my point being. In the last 3 months of actively being a member of Wealthy Affiliate, I have managed to write more content that actually ranks in search engines and is bringing me free web traffic. While I had had some success along the way in my life before WA, it was short-lived .

My Online Goals for 2019

• Continue to grow my website, not sure which one yet ? Maybe both ?
• Be active in the Wealthy Affiliate community and add some training to the members area
• Shoot for Vegas 2020
• Get a few keywords ranked on the first page of results on Google
