To Dream or not to Dream
Who told you not to dream?
Your parents, your siblings, your friends, your boss?
I believe the phrase "stop dreaming" has been the most single detrimental statement given to another since the history of man...
Who has the right to tell another not to dream? No one has that right..
There are two planes man can exist on: The competitive plane OR the creative plane.
On the Competitive plane there is the underlying thought: "There is only so much to go around."
On the Creative plane this truth exists: "There is an endless supply of 'stuff' to go around."
A man on the competitive plane tells another to stop dreaming because he wants it all for himself.
A man on the creative plane says; "Go for it!" "Do it, over and over till the job is done."
I have known both types of man... suffice it to say, i have left the first type behind.
One man is filled with ego, greed, a sickness of the heart.
The other is filled with treasures that are of endless supply, and a heart that only wishes to share those gifts.
So who told us not to dream... who has that right?
No one.
Follow your dreams with everything you've got

Dreams are the foundation of who we are in my opinion. Without our dreams, we lose ourselves. Keep dreaming!
I believe there is a cross-over here. Lots of time competitiveness drives creation and sometimes vice versa. The trick is where to draw the line so competitiveness doesn't win and creativeness doesn't stagnate.
Creativeness can never stagnate... It comes from Above, when something is needed, the thing comes through the individual.
Thanks for the comment, i understand what you mean, btw ;)
The New World will be filled with those with new ways of thinking.

Well said, Rick! This is so very true. I agree, the words, "stop dreaming" are so hurtful to anyone with the creativity in their head to think beyond the box in the first place.
Maybe some have given up on their dreams, but that doesn't mean they have the right to tell others not to follow through on their own dreams.
Keep following your dreams wherever they lead you...
Best wishes :) ~Sherry
Thank you Sherry, and you are right!
most of the time the words "stop dreaming" are said to kids... that is sad and abuse in my opinion. :/
