My dream
Honestly, I've never really told anyone my dream... so i figure, why not start now.
This is the short version. I'm hoping to add to this later.
My dream starts with a question.
Do you think this can be rebuilt?
This is an ancient healing center in Turkey, called the mysterious healing center of Asklepion. I think it was one of several ancient healing centers in that time, because Asklepion was from Greece. The tricky part is we can't see what these ancient centers really looked like, all we see today is the foundation. Also, we can't fully know how they were used, and in what way they were used by the people at the time.
I believe the ancient societies of the past were centered much more around the community as a whole, much like the native cultures of the Americas and other pre-modern cultures.
I say this because my dream is to have a healing center or sanctuary to rival the ones of the ancient past. And i believe it will take a cultural change to see it through. In the times when these were in operation, many people played a part, the whole community did in fact. There were people that helped the ones needing healing as they journeyed to the location, people that helped in the center and on the grounds. It was seen as a necessity for the well-being of the society as a whole.
This is my dream. That we really can come together and build a communal society rather then a fragmented society that's on the verge of collapse.
Idk, do you think that we can rebuild great ancient structures, made anew... that reflect the marvel of mankind?
I'm certainly willing to try if someone thinks that's a good idea... lol
Otherwise, i just sit here thinking i'm crazy to even try :/

That is a great idea...I believe you never know til you try...your dreams are definitely worth a shot, the whole world is in need of a change for the better. One step at a time is the only way to start a journey to see where it may lead...

I think it sounds like a great idea! I have a quote on my fridge that says " To have the Desire means you Can, otherwise you would not have the desire". In my community there are bi-annual 'healing expos' and I heard about this sanctuary that was in the planning stages of being built - your post reminded me of this! I will PM you the link for inspiration for your sanctuary idea. The world needs more ideas like yours- Go For It and Believe! :)
