I have posts and pages. The posts show up on my website but the pages don't. I was thinking that pages could turn into tabs. I put a lot of research into the pages so I hate
Hey Jeanine,
Have you added the pages to your main menu in the wordpress dashboard? You got to the 'appearance' tab and then select 'menus'. This is where you create your main menus and can add your pages. Don't forget to hit the save button once you've created the menu. Have a look at this video and if you have any other problems, just let us know. Creating Custom Menus and Navigation This is also a good resource:

Posts and pages are two different things. Posts are meant to be in your blog roll.
So as to display pages, you have to create tabs for each separate page from menu editor.
Please feel free if you need further assistance...

You have to go to appearance, menus, create a menu, add your pages, then save menu.
Thank you! Got it done.
