My name is Richard Rogers and I live with my wife, Aletha in North Canton, Ohio, USA.
I've been trying (with nothing to show for it) to market on the internet since retiring from my photography business ten years ago. I was a portrait photographer for 38 years. I've worked at several part time jobs since retirement, but at my age, 76, I know I will continue to need an income when I can no longer work out side my home.
My wife and I have six grown children and a bunch of grandkids. I have a degree in journalism and worked in public relations and advertising before switching to photography.
I've always succeeded at everything I've tried EXCEPT internet marketing and it's really ticking me off. I needed help. Of course, like a lot of us who found WA, I had spent a good amount of money to scammers who promised the world and fell way short, but for a bunch of money more they could hand you the key to Fort Knox.
I think I've found the answer here at WA. It only took a few weeks for me to realize that I had been approaching things wrong. By following the suggestions in training, I have a website, a niche, I'm making new friends that I can count on for answers and inspiration. The best that I've realized is what I am. I'm a writer.
After all, I knew I would be a writer in junior high school but somehow, as time wore on, I forgot it. WA has helped me find myself and I'm ready. What for? Follow me and I'll show you.
