You know how things sometimes suddenly pop into your brain (it's the way the brain works) a little later than when you ask for it... Well, a few days ago I accidentally commented that the word for describing fonts and their parameters is - taxonomy.
I apologise... that was a faux pas that I wish I could correct.
Unfortunately I've also forgotten who's blog post I was commenting on... I believe it was one of the ladies here...

They have politely not corrected my boo-boo.
The word should have been typography of course.
So, for the record:
Typography refers to the look and feel of our writing based on fonts, colours, sizes etc and is the word I was looking for in my memory.
Taxonomy is what popped up at the time, and in WordPress it refers to the look and feel based on the structure of a post or page, and is often used when referring to categories and tags etc and is most often used when we create custom post styles of out own liking.
