The Worst Birthday Ever
I woke up early on the morning of my birthday with high expectations. The day was all planned out. I mediated as I always do every morning to get my day off on the right track. It was Fantastic Friday my birthday ahaaay. The texts and the phone calls were coming in. I had a 6:00 a.m. appointment to have my car serviced, before going to work. I have the next ten days off, to really celebrate my birthday. I'm being pick-up and taken to work from the car dealership. I'm in conversation with the person who is taking me to work.
That's when the unhappy birthday begins. I share this story with the WA community for sympathy or my ignorance. Anyway, while in consersation I am suppose to attend a function that evening and bring my new acquaitance to meet my family members. Words are an expression of how someone feels good, bad or whatever. My sensitivity not only changed my birthday, but the development to a new relationship up until this day is very questionable. What was said kept me from attending the function planned for later the day. I disappointed my family members that I dearly love, I was told by my new acquaitance to go and be with my family. I feel like an idiot, because this is all a misunderstanding.
If there is a bright side of my birthday, it would be that there was a party in my behalf at work for me on my birthday. There is a saying that states 'that time heals all wounds'. I'm truly praying for that to happen in this situation. Please leave your thoughts and comments at the botom of this blog/post. God bless!

There are so many things in life that will suddenly come and discourage us.
Things in life that make us feel weak, make us question ourselves, make us wonder if there is more in life.
I know it's hard I have been there, but sometimes we just need to move even if we are tired we just need to move because life is not perfect.
Every day is a challenge every day we struggle and as long as we are alive it means that God is still giving us life of days and nights to live in this world.
My Sympathy,
Ver
Verl, your wisdom comes from experiences in your life. It's words such as these that keep you inspired to your life's purpose. Thank you, and that God shine his light upon you.
Unfortunately we are all human and we all say and do things that other people don't agree with or understand! I see you meditate, so I offer sympathy for the misunderstanding and offer a way to get over this slight hurdle - meditate and come out peaceful and at one with the world - that will rub off on others, and this incident will pass.
Jan
Ricardo,
We all encounter events that we have great expectations, but somehow they fall short. I am a firm believer that God has a plan for all of us and the situations that we encounter (whether good or bad) is to be a learning process, or to protect us. We all must have faith in "things happen for a reason" and look forward to the future. Because the events that we classify as "bad" will allow us to appreciate and enjoy the "good" that is further down the road.
I'm sorry that you feel that it is "The Worst Birthday Ever", but the concern, empathy, and consolation that is given to you here at Wealthy Affiliate are gifts given without a second thought. We feel for you because we have all been there before. But as with learning about future financial endeavors, life is ever evolving, so we must continue learning in life as well.
The world is a much better place with you in it. So rather than we giving you a birthday present, you have given us one in you being here.
Stay strong my friend, for you will always be loved and cared for by God himself and will never give you anything you can't handle.
Trust in God and Peace be with you.
Greg
Greg, thank you for your words of wisdom. I had no idea that a bad situation in my life could bless others with the responses I have received. Life happens to us all, it's how you respond to it, knowing that God has your back. Peace be unto you.
Greg, than you. Has anyone ever told you, you look like Jake Scott the former Miami Dolphin defensive back. God bless you!
Thus far from experience, I believe that time never heals. The passage of time can either make you worst or a better person. I think what heals is your forgiveness of the person who inflicted you and hurt you. We need to forgive those who trespass against us so that we can move on in the right direction. Whatever that is, you have to let go and forgive. You are magnificent! Rise up from those hurts and reach for the top! It's a New Day!
Elizabeth, please explain to me how a person can pre-judge someone they have never met. To bring that person in there presents would have been a catastrophe. I thought it was better to just avoid the situation. God bless you!
I don't think I could pre-judge someone I have never met. I can't even judge those I have already met and even known for a long time. Yeah, sometimes it's best to avoid some situations. I pray that everything will be ironed out well for you. Keep moving onward with God's blessings!
Elizabeth, when I came back early because things did not go well where I was. We discussed the comment of pre-judging people and we were able to iron things out. This was a true learning experience, that will go into my book. God bless you!
Time does heal all wounds. And, chances are, whatever was said has caused you more worry than necessary. We all say things that we regret the moment they leave our lips...Not clear on what was said or who you think you offended, but...I'm guess they'll see that you are a sensitive and caring person and one statement doesn't make a man good or bad.
Barb, explain to me how a person can pass judjement on someone they have not even met yet? Please help me out. God bless you!
I know it's a cliche, but time does help you to feel better about things and gives you the ability to put things into perspective :)
Jude, this experience has motivated me even more to writing my book. This post is proof and this will be a part of the book, from the comments I have received and still coming in. Thank you!
Jude, this post will be somewhere in the book along with any of my blogs/posts as well. I'm just so motivated by the response of this post. Thank you!

I'm sorry you had a hard birthday. It's no fun when that happens. But letting it just be a day will help you heal. There's 364 more days to make this year amazing
Jennifer, thank you. Things have gotten back to normal, my family forgives me and all is well.
