How does the allergy manifest itself? Have you been tested or how did you come to this conclusion?

If i use aftershave or soap containing alcohol I will get a terrible itch and my face will swell.
You can either ask your allergist to isolate what might be the problem (alcohol or something else contained in both products) or simply find another aftershave and soap to use. An allergist will not really be able to do anything except give you something to help the symptoms.
Lucky for you, we live in a society with very sensitive skin, There are plenty of products out there without alcohol you can substitute. Sometimes the best solution is the easiest one!
Please be careful and check ingredients well. I know how it feels to swell up with hives. It's a scary feeling not knowing how far the reaction will go!
