Quality Content Comments.
I would like to say from the start that I have not been much of a blog poster and I would like to try this forum out for comments to see how the response is.
I’m sure like many of you who have started out at WA, have been really focused on creating good quality content and are interested in the organic relationship between your content, the google ranking and the overall trust being built as a result of this interaction. I have invested a lot of my time also in providing comments and feedback on peoples pages with the aim of adding value to their site which hopefully supports them in the growth to a sustainable online business.
One thing that has been happening; a few times I might add; when requesting comments or feedback from the WA community, the lack of quality or may I say, coherent and structured comments from some people, has really astounded me. It appears as if little thought has gone into the writing of the comment or to making sure that in the form it is supplied, it can be confidently posted on someone’s page as a credible organic interaction. A basic proofread of the comments should be a standard by which anyone looking to post comments on a website should perform to ensure that the comment is both legible and makes sense.
I often have the feeling that while many of the comments are screened for Copy and Paste actions, the quality of the comments is so poor and superficial that the end goal is purely to gain community credits rather than to add value to others.
Have many of you found this to be the case or do I need to reduce the standards by which I evaluate comments to post on my Page?
Your response is greatly appreciated.

While there are some amazing commenters out there, I sometimes get the same feeling too, especially if its new members.
If I keep getting same "feedback"-like comments or simply ones that are stupid, I get annoyed and disapprove them. But if I don't mind doing a bit of editing and add a question for engagement, then I will do that.
I know it's my business but I feel bad when I have to disapprove the comments, though sometimes it's what I have to, if I keep getting low-quality comments.
Anyway I expressed my feelings a lot in Shirley's post: Site Comments Can't be totally fixed!
I agree. I’ve gotten the same general comments copied and pasted too many times.
