How to Change a Post to a Page
I like to share what I have learned while completing my Lessons in Affiliate Bootcamp. So, here is what I have got today. First, let me say that Wealthy Affiliate and Google go hand in hand. I started to ask this question in the chat room, but I wanted to see if I could find the answer on my own for a change.
So, as I was in the Wordpress Admin area, I noticed my ABOUT ME page was listed as a post instead of a Web page. When I googled, I came away and found the answer through one of the first links on the google results page.
The answer was to first add/install/activate a new plugin called Post Type Switcher. Once this is activated, you can go to the post you would like to change and click Edit.
Over on the right side, you will see the Publish section and just above the UPDATE button is a NEW section called Post Type. It will currently show what it is which would be a POST. Next to it is the Edit button; by clicking on the Edit button, you can see the drop-down arrow button where you can select POST, or Page, and then click OK.
You can also change a Page to a post as well.
Once that is done, update your website by clicking on UPDATE and BOOM! You did it!!
Just wanted to share what I just learned and hopefully help someone else that needs to do the same thing.
