need to add pictures to enhance the look of my blog. Can anyone help?
What do you need to know? You add pictures by clicking the Add Media button near the top of your Wordpress post when you're editing. From there, you can upload the image and add links or descriptions.
If you put the cursor where you want the image before clicking Add Media, the uploaded image will appear on the page where you put your cursor.
After the images has uploaded, you can click on it and click the small photo icon to make adjustments for size or location.

You can always add an image with html by clicking the text tab and adding this code:
...where you replace everything after the www. with the location of the image.

Can you elaborate, I really did not understand that response. Cause I have not found where I can add HTML.
When you're editing or creating a post, just above where you write your text, you'll see two tabs that say "Visual" and "Text". Clicking on the text tab shows you the HTML for the post you're creating or editing. You can place the image code there.
Then just click the "Visual" tab to return to what you're doing. You should see your image.
