I want to register a domain that is .co.uk - it is not giving me the option? I know that it is available as it is available to buy on GoDaddy. If I have my own website and

If your customers are from the UK, it is sensible to have a .co.uk domain. I know many businesses in the UK with a .com domain, which May indicate that they have an international audience.

You can do other than Enom (WA) - it is not a supported tld.

Then, point it over to WA servers.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com Abie

To be honest, you will still be better with a .con irrespective of where you live. It is a lot easier to rank. I have a British passport and would never buy a co.uk name . Actually, there is one instance where if I had a physical business, yes, I would, but I would buy the .com as well. There is absolutely no advantage of buying a .co.uk name

Hi Catherine, yes I am thinking like a physical business as I do run a vintage furniture shop and website - but as you say, the website I will be running for affiliate marketing will not have a physical presence. I will probably buy both but go the .com route ! Thanks for the advice

Good luck buying both in that instance is a good idea

What size does the blog post cover photo / picture have to be? Mine are uploading too big so cutting off some of the picture ?

Resource

https://enginescout.com.au/wordpress-image-sizes/

You have Kraken installed by default. You can choose the size right sidebar in your block editor.

Thanks for the reply, but I meant in the Blog Posts we do on actual Wealthy Affiliate - or Posts. There is an option to add cover to your post which can be an image. I've attached a snapshot of what I mean.

Will have a good read of that - great resource

Ahh OK sorry, I did not realise. I will amend the blog and change the photo and have a read through the rules

Are all my links OK on my profile as they link to my RetroNovia website, facebook page etc - I don't want to get off on the wrong foot as soon as I have signed up !
