Multiple Streams of Income

When I was in college, I realized that I would likely never stay in a 9-5 job long enough to get a pension. I had great job placements after I graduated, but I was always looking for ways to develop residual income from multiple sources. I was looking for ways to fund my retirement...at the age of 20!

While watching late night infomercials after college graduation, I kept seeing real estate investing infomercials. One night, I finally decided to order one of the programs. It was more money than I had as a recent college graduate, so I decided to immerse myself in the course. I had a 60-day money back guarantee. I figured if the principles didn't work, I could send the course back and get my money back, but I really didn't want to send it back. I wanted it to work. I needed to begin my journey of creating an income stream outside of my 9-5 job. I listened to tapes on my 30 minute commute to and from work. I listened to tapes at home. I read the material and immediately put the principles to practice. One of the first things I was instructed to do was order my credit report. It was at that point that I discovered I had been the victim of identity theft. My credit was shot. No banks were willing to give me a chance. I was devastated for about a day, then I realized that there was a section in the course that talked about buying homes with no money and no credit.

I was back on my journey! The journey was tough because I had to deal with the identity theft issue, as I worked to buy houses with no credit, and very little money. I was only 24 years old at the time. Law enforcement in San Diego, Las Vegas, and in Iowa had not seen so much devastation done to someone's credit in such a short period of time. I was given discouraging words by many, but I had a goal. I was going to master the course and buy my first investment property, in spite of the seemingly impossible situation.

I worked tirelessly to clean up all of the mess from the fraudulent accounts, while working a 40+ hour a week job, and having door after door shut in my face while trying to get financing for my first property. In spite of all of the difficulties, I didn't quit. I didn't let any of the negativity soak in. I knew the system would work if I simply persevered. One year later, I closed on my 1st property with no money, and absolutely no credit! Six months after that, I closed on my 2nd property. Did I mention that I was living in my parents' basement and didn't even have my own home, or even an apartment, at the time? Before my 30th birthday, I was holding 10 properties.

Now, at the age of 41, I've re-discovered internet marketing. It's a great tool in my quest for multiple income streams, and a way to fund my retirement. Within the internet marketing arena, there are multiple ways to create an income. As I'm building my internet businesses, it's exciting to see some results (results=income). Seeing that results are coming in within the first month of joining WA is very encouraging. Seeing my websites get indexed by Google has been exciting. I'm promoting multiple sites, but the two that have started converting are listed below. They are two very different sites. They target two very different niche markets and both of them have started to convert. Conversion=Results. Results=Income. I'm so thankful for discovering another stream of income to help me reach my goals!
