Second time around
1st Time around
Sometimes, OK maybe more than sometimes, having a re look at something you have already learned can have a huge benefit both in terms of getting it firmly entrenched in your aging memory facility but also in stuff you missed the first time around.
Did you miss it
The first time I did the training here at Wealthy Affiliate it was done and semi absorbed from a starting point of zero knowledge and very little made sense or stuck to what ever there is in your brain that catches information you would like to stick.
I found my self just reading and looking forward to the end of a particular training just so I could get to the next lesson and earn the brownie points for doing that.
So was I missing vital information pertinent to a successful entrepreneurial life style?
Indeed I was and very shortly, following a complete lack of success in my quest for a lap top life style, left Wealthy Affiliate.
Looking in all the wrong places?
My desire for a lap top life style did not diminish and I continued to research the "How too's" of achieving this goal, and armed with a lot more knowledge came back to Wealthy Affiliate, not because of the tutorials because by now I knew everything! Right? Wrong.
I was very adept at creating a website or two and thought I could monetize it with my rather fragmented learning of the subject. I had some success but very little.
Have another go
After a few months I have restarted the training and now at the point of sharing my knowledge as limited as I now know it to be.
If you are feeling you are not getting anywhere as a digital entrepreneur or even reached a plateau in your hitherto successful career it will be immensely beneficial redoing the training for a number of reasons.
- It makes more sense the second time around
- You will pick up on a lot of helpful advice you glossed over the first time.
- You will be more inclined to actually do the required practical lesson.
- You are learning from a point, in terms of knowledge, far in advance of where you were the first time around,
- A final point (my experience) there is a lot less pressure. Your niche is probably already chosen and you should be over the initial fear of knowing absolutely nothing about everything!!
