Where is my Office?
So where do you go to do your work? I used to have an office room in my house but that has been taken over by my expanding family.
So now I just carry my laptop around and try to focus wherever I can on whatever thoughts happen to rambling around in my head at the time. It is pretty dysfunctional at times
I love my MacBook Pro and it is a perfect laptop companion. But sometimes I have to just get away to think and to write.

I work from home but often get cabin fever so I take my MacBook Air to the library or Starbucks.
That's an awesome idea. I no longer have a laptop because I prefer using my desktop, but now I think I may need to break out the old thing again. Doing work at the library is an awesome idea. Starbucks, too, although I can see myself ordering too many Ventis.
I got a little home office but I tend to work in my kitchen as I have a large window with a sew view which I love! :D
We have no office, so we have to just work where ever we can. Luckily, we both have laptops and our own spaces in our rooms. But going out to a cafe or a library is a good idea. May have to try it sometimes just to get out.
I work anywhere that is convenient. I do have an office in my home but right now I'm working in my lounge. If I want to do a lot of writing, I like to go to a cafe or a hotel and write - I just find it easer to concentrate in a different environment.
I got a old desk, which i was suppose to reovate for the girls to do their home work, as hubby build a computer table but its too high I thin, so the girls use that.
They both sit in the dinning/lounge, so i can still see the kids running around.
Most of my time is spent at a table that I use as a desk in the corner of my living room, but during the summer, I'd often write on a notebook sitting out on the deck in our back yard and then go back in later to put my ideas on the computer. Now, it's too cold and snowy, so I'll have to deal with all the distractions while writing at my "desk." Or, sometimes the kitchen, but they always seem to find me anyways, lol.
Kitchen table for me most of the time , Now and then i will go out to a cafe bar and do a little work while enjoying a nice cold beer
My kitchen table, my lounge room coffee table, the bed! i use my laptop wherever I feel attracted to at that time, mostly the kitchen table. And I carry a notebook and pen with me EVERYWHERE. I often come up with the best ideas when I can't get to somewhere to write them down lol
That just drives me crazy. And then life gets in the way and you can't remember what it was you thought was such a brilliant idea.
lol I know! Or waking up in the middle of the night with the answer to world peace, not being able to write it down, think you'll remember in the morning and then - nothing.
I am very fortunate that I have a room dedicated to this sort of stuff. But it doesn't stop it from spilling over into the living room for some reason.
yes I know,, I have my living room area at night..my kitchen area during the day and shift to that bedroom or bathroom as needed

I have an office, but it is filled with guitars and amps, so I usually work from my room, where I have a desk. If I am feeling a bit anti-social, I will take my computer downstairs and work from the couch, but I usually get distracted much more easily.
