After all my years of searching the internet I am so excited that I have finally found a home based with Wealthy Affiliate doing affiliate marketing online business opportunity that I can call My Own Business and I can say that I am in charge. I can work as hard as I want. I can work where I want. I can do it how I want. I can do it with who I want. I can make it as small or as big as I want too. I can put as much time into it as I want. The member area you can get all the help you need 24 hrs a day. There is always someone available to help in the live chat. All I have to do is put in the hard work and dedication to be successful.
New Business Adventure - How To Start
To Be Patient
I am eager to learn how to start my new business adventure with Wealthy Affiliate. (I am like a kid in a candy store and I want to eat and taste everything). I just need to be patient. All I have to do is go through the step by step training that is given in great detail, complete the task that are required before continuing and apply what I learned to build my website. Before all of that, I need to pick what my website is going to be about.
What Is Niche? - I Was Going To Get Into
A niche is relating to products, services, or interests that appeal to a small, specialized group of people.
1,000 Words - 5 Title Paragraphs
So far I am learning how to write 1,000 words per content posting or page. How to put titles for each paragraph that you are going to write about. Try not to make each paragraph to long. Give all the information we know about the subject we are writing about. Have five or six paragraphs. The first paragraph should be an introductory paragraph. The second, third and fourth would be the bulk of the information. The last paragraph is a summary of what you talked about. In the training they also show how to set up your about me page and the privacy page and the affiliate policy page. These pages are very important. The privacy pages and the affiliate page list all the rules and regulations. The about me page describes about you so the reader knows who you are. What your goals are and your mission to help them.
Images - My Own Images
The next step I learned was how to put images on my content postings or pages. I had to find images that I could use without copyrights. I used some images that were my pictures that I took from my phone. It was nice to see the picture I took my website. I was even thinking I could just take pictures of everything and that could be my business. I struggled a little but then I figured it out with the help of some Wealthy Affiliate members. They are a great help to me. Every time I get stuck they are there to help in the live chat.
Post it Live - Comments
After we learned how to put images I learned that we should publish our content so it can be live on the internet and then we should have someone else read and make comments on our website. I was a bit nervous to do this but I did it anyways because it was part of the task we needed to complete before we continue with the training. I received my first comment I was surprised it was a very good response. I was very excited and proud of all the hard work I put into so far. Then I was asked to make a comment on another members site. This part was nerve wrecking to look on someone else website and make comments. I put positive comments on the members site.
Content - Linking Products - Receive Commissions
In the training we were asked us to choose some products that are related to our niche. After choosing some products we looked for some affiliate programs to join. Then we signed up to for some affiliate programs and now we have an affiliate link we can use to receive commission on. The earnings can vary depending on the affiliate program you join. We learned how to promote these products on our website by linking the products to an affiliate programs.
Product Review
The part of the training that I am learning now is making a product review. This is where you pick a product you want to talk about and then describe it in great detail, what it does and doesn't do. What it is going to do for you and how it can help you. The price and where you can find it. The more information you give about the product the more your reader is going to buy it. They buy it you receive a commission. In the review you can talk about more than one product and finished your review you can then post your affiliate link on it. When they click on it and buy you receive your commission.
My Thoughts - My New Business Adventure
I have always said there is more to life than working for someone day in and day out. I searched for a very long time for an online business that I can do from home. Finding a business takes a lot of time to research and hard work to find the right one for you. Starting a new business adventure is very exciting and it is overwhelming at first. Especially if you decide to it by yourself. It can also be very frustrating if you don't have all the right tools and training getting started. I am so grateful that I came across Wealth Affiliate and their members platform. I don't know how I would do it without them. I have learned so much so far and I am continuing my education. I will improve on my skills as I learn. I will never give up on my dreams of Being My Own Boss.
