Choose the right Theme - no matter how much time it takes
Hello guys,
Writing a blog after quite a long time just to share few news from me - I have started writing new website in October after moving from my ex-boyfriend (no worries, I am fine), and lately, I have changed the Theme (several times in few days to be honest) - to get what I expected to see when I click on my website.
Finally, I found one that fits my needs and expectations on function and visual - without much trouble and work, I got a fantastic website (some changes would still be done, but for 90 % it looks how I want to).
Therefore it comes to my mind to remind you how important is to choose the right Theme. Most of you are lucky to use WP and there are so many beautiful Themes when you don't need to pay for Pro version to get a really beautiful website - and web-design is something, that could attract a lot of visitors, I assure you that.
I sometimes go through websites from WA members while writing feedback, I really like to evaluate other people's websites and I can honestly say that probably 30 % of the people understand what means to choose great Theme and have a nicely designed website.
I am not fully sure why it is like that, but I would like to say that underestimating the visual site of your website, no matter how quality content is there, could cost you a lot of visits (people simply won't come back to your website again) -> losing ranking -> losing money and therefore motivation, altough your Niche could be brilliant!
Sometimes it takes some time until you come to the right Theme, there is a lot of Themes within WP and I understand and also have experience with long choosing the right one, but if you are patient, know, what your visitors need, then the work will pay off.
So, that's from me, I am happy to be at WA, just receiving my first commissions from my first website so I can say that hard work really pays off! Thank you all for your great support through your comments/feedback/following and blogging, the community here is fantastic!

I agree. I had to change themes twice and that was no fun. Now I am cleaning my plug-ins before moving forward. Take time to evaluate and make a good decision. It matters.
I just changed the theme on two websites, and really like the results. I was so afraid to change, but it was easy. Good advice.

Good to hear that you have found the right website, one that is visually pleasing and gives you what you need.
I am also a very visual person and often come across a website that is too full, too many moving elements, too small font, etc. If one does not feel at ease one just leaves.
