Cleared That Hurdle!
Okay, so the glitch cleared (after my computer got a good nights' sleep!) having applied WA Support's advice of detoxing drastically from all cookies, etc. So now I can actually SEE the website I have created instead of a page of error messages - woohoo!
I've decided that setbacks are not going to worry me. Yes, there will be some ups and downs, but having committed to being in this for the longhaul, the plotted graph of progress and profitability will go steadily upwards, despite being a wriggly line, rather than dead straight!
So today I was able to access the new site and the backend and complete the tasks on setting up the All-In-One-SEO pack plugin - 'nuther job tick off the list!

The thing about WA is that it is pretty cool to get that first website underway.
