Is an offline local community feasible?
So we have this amazing community here.. we share, we learn and we're happy!
Sometimes though, do you find yourself wishing you had someone real standing beside you, watching over your shoulder and keeping you right or talking you through it? I know I do and now its got me thinking. No one that i know personally is into what we do or has the same goals as we do here at WA but surely there has to be someone near me. Someone that has our kind of passion and would like to get together in a local group to share news, views, and ideas and to give and receive moral support in a friendly environment,
I'm seriously thinking about setting up a group but where to find like minded people in my area is proving more difficult than i thought! And I seriously doubt anyone here is from where i live - but it's Newcastle/Durham area of UK - just in case you are near me! :-)
What do you think of this idea? I'd love to hear your views.

Update... Found someone amazing just a few miles from me! My life is changing on so many different levels! I have written about it in my latest blog.

You will never guess.. since I wrote this I have actually found someone local to help me! I honestly cant believe my luck. I was looking for a successful internet business person but got soo much more! Meeting him has absolutely turned my life around!!

I have met one person here in Ireland, but we were going at a different pace (I was the slow one lol) so it was not going to be very practical. BTW did anybody contact you from Newcastle area.

Hi Maria. One of the WA members contacted me to say that they were in my area. Then I alerted someone else in WA, that I follow,who in my area. We haven't gotten together yet but will one of these days. I think the human touch is very important. However; doesn't help you since we are all in the Las Vegas, Nevada area! I've seen quite a few people from the UK here so I'm sure you will find a group! Good Luck!
