Be Inspired! Be Very Inspired!

Last Update: September 22, 2014

Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long since I touched base here but that's been for a very good reason! My feet have never touched the ground because I've been so busy. Read on to find out why!

At fifty four, single, middle aged, overweight, five daughters, eight grandchildren, no degree or remarkable qualifications, I have cracked it!

Yes me. I am finally being who I want to be, doing what I want to do and doing it the way I want to do it! All because I decided to follow my dreams.

Never, ever in a million years, even if you had asked me a year ago, would I have envisaged myself writing this post.
Me, Mrs Ordinary, who was just trying to learn how to make a living online here in our wonderful WA.

I have made some friends here, who, as it has turned out, will now probably be life long friends since we discovered that we all had something in common. We all needed to find our purpose for being here, to find out the real meaning of our lives, to find our real deep down passions, our talents and skills, some might call it their niche in life so that we could take our lives forward in massive leaps and bounds. This, as I'm sure you can imagine, brought us together and took us on the most unforgettable journey.

So, how did I do it? By not giving up - by going for what I wanted and not letting life's trials and tribulations stop me. By being determined and focused and by hanging on to that belief that the right thing would come along. I went in search of who and what I needed until I found them.

And Oh Boy! Where do I begin to tell you how it has changed my life!

You can see on my main page how it all started. After this, my WA friends joined me and along with other people we became a close knit, happy and friendly, global team, with people from USA, UK, Greece, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. We have members who are teachers, people who have been in the forces, people who have gone through disastrous relationships and been left with little or no self esteem. We have people who are full time carers for their relatives. I could go on and on.. We are all so diverse yet we all needed the same thing. Someone to help us get to where we wanted to be.

Together we have been through this incredible life transforming process.

We wanted to find the path we should really have been on and find out why we hadnt been successful up to now. We wanted that feeling of excitement that you get when you're happy to jump out of bed because you're looking forward to the day so much. To live with passion and purpose. To learn how to live deliberately and take life by the scruff of the neck and just run with it!! And to find inner peace and that very old fashioned thing called joy, which so many of us crave in this crazy world we live in..

Doing our free course has empowered us. It has given us so many opportunities we didn't know existed both as a group and independently.

I have just found a totally new outlook, a whole new life and a whole new way of life. There is no going back - and the only way from here is up!

And.. I'm absolutely tickled pink to tell you that from this, I was invited to work personally with the big guy himself - who is lovely by the way - so nice, so approachable. So anything you want to know, just ask!

Maria

Wow, awesome, inspiring blog Maria. Thank you so much for introducing yourself and congrats on being invited to work with the big guy! I am a grandmother. My daughter's husband left her with nothing and she and my 3 and 5 year old grand-daughters moved in with me. I spend a lot of time at my boyfriend's but he has no money at the moment to help us. They are my life and heart. Everything is for them (well and for me!). Thank you again for the inspiration. Going to go get busy now.

Thanks so much for that Trish! I hear what you're saying.. I don't know about you but when I was younger I thought that by the time my kids were grown up, I would be well off and my life would be sorted and plain sailing.. big LOL... I ended up a single parent- twice- with full time care of two of my young grandchildren which (long story) led to me losing my own home through no fault of my own and literally having to start again from scratch. I couldn't afford to stay in the area I grew up in so we had to move away. It was so hard to cope with, for all of us, not just me. I felt so sorry for the kids and ended up rock bottom and on anti depressants.

I just thank God I found Larry Lewis when I did. I'm still at the beginning of my journey but life has a totally new outlook now, it's full of optimism and excitement for the future and I know where I'm going!
If I can do it, anyone can! I just need to share it with everyone in the same position I was so they know it can be done! :-)

Hi Maria :) Congratulations!! I wished I lived a little closer to meet you but distance isn't really an issue these days so hopefully one day?

Right now it is 'time freedom' that I need desperately! Juggling my little Business keeps me very busy & I am hoping to get help with that once I get a little more financially free :)

You have already achieved so much in life with five daughters & eight grandchildren! I am envious as I only have sons & no hope of grandchildren just yet (or at least I don't think so?!)

A great inspiration to everyone ... You took action and are now reaping the rewards! No stopping you now :))

I will remember you going forward & make time to read your blogs!

You are living a 'Life of Passion & Purpose' & if we can all encourage one another to do the same ... As I can see here at WA, it's the right place to be!

Hey you never know - we might just meet one day, sranger things have happened!

It's a very fine balancing act isn't between work and home (even when you're working from home!) Finding the "me" time gets a little waylaid sometimes! We need to make that time to reenergise ourselves Jenny Ann!

I'm sure your boys will give you some grandchildren when they're ready - trust me - for now - enjoy the peace while it lasts ha ha.

Thanks so much for your very kind words. I am trying to live a life of passion and purpose - I'm only human and slip up now and again but on the whole - life is good - so much more positive than it was for sure! :-)

Awesome Maria, I so appreciate the follow and wonderful response to my last blog. You understand "busy" by what I read in this post, so I am encouraged that once I get the current business under control, I'll be able to return to my community effort here at WA. Best wishes for success, blessing and prayers are sent your way. Hopefully to a long term friendship, Pamela

Reply
ReinventMe Premium
The man behind The Reinvention University is Larry Lewis. An ordinary man with an extraordinary talent. You wont have heard of him yet but he is the most wonderflupl person I have ever met. He has turned my life around and not only mine.. he helps people bring their dreams alive. I discovered him whilst looking for someone who lives in my area to help mentor me. I chose him because he was a successful online businessman and contacted him to ask if he could help me and offered to work for nothing for him if he could help me. I had no idea at the time that he was also a successful life coach, a stress management speaker and a health and fitness expert. To cut a long story short... he agreed to help me then said my story inspired him .. and then he developed the reinvention university from there... read his story in his blogs... he was a very rich business man and lost absolutely everything he owned.. his home, his marriage.. everything. Lovely lovely, honest down to earth guy. People are mistrusting about the free course - "nothing that good is free, theres always a catch" -but it really is free - of course there are different levels because he has to make a living but he knows exactly how it feels to have nothing and be starting from scratch and that many people who need what he has the most are on the bones of their backsides, just like he was.

The unhappiest people are those who have spent their lives living for the wants of others who only want you to make them look good while you battle through their emotional abuse and your own depression. I'm just learning how to loosen the grips of a close relative who really has a narrow view of success. I know your pain. I will get where you are. People who hold purse strings are bigger despots than Hitler or Mussolini could ever envision.
Reply
ReinventMe Premium
Ooh, that doesn't sound like a good place to be Glen. Giving your life to others can be a very thankless task and emotional abuse (any kind of abuse) can be soul destroying.. We had someone in our group who was still suffering years down the line but through doing the course has found a way through it and is amazed that she can see a fabulous and positive future now through using a tecnique called weeding the garden, using visualisation and other techniques we use. Take heart my friend you can get beyond this.
