Baby steps

My two favorite boys! My husband and grandson after a long day finally gave it up. Well so far I have not given up on WA. That is a good thing right? I actually am starting to look forward to logging into the WA site and seeing the comments and help everyone is giving me. It is wonderful. I am not following the time line to the letter but I think what matters is that I get online every day and do a little.

I have had multiple jobs in my life, one main career, but worked for several companies. I have enjoyed what I learned from each one. I think these experiences have made me who I am today. Am I the person that I thought I would become when I left home. Probably not. But I am not disappointed. I believe that you must get up, out of bed, every day and do something. My mother always said if you are having a bad day or feel depressed do something. It is hard to wallow if self pity when your body and mind are active. Does not always have to be the right something but do something!

So I long in every day and do a little a day. I do not always get through the entire Boot Camp lesson in one day. But that is ok for me. I want to enjoy this adventure and not stress out. And so far I am. I am learning something every day. Which is important to me as not to be bored. I get bored very easily.

With Wealthy Affiliate I am taking the baby step approach. If i take a small step and keep moving forward I think in a year I will be amazed at the results. I have a deep respect for Kyle for putting together such a wonderful site. I am a teacher at heart and have had the pleasure of teaching many young minds programming, robotics and web design. I have often been amazed that they take a class and are amazing but never do anything with their knowledge. Then I must look at myself. I have more knowledge that I care to admit about computers and the internet and have done very little with it. What kind of role model is that?

So here I am doing something (for my mom), using the knowledge I have gained in my past (for my students), and taking baby steps (for my family). I do not see the light at the end of the tunnel yet, but I know it is there.
