You are doing a great job!

Yes, YOU! You have been through so much this year, yet you're still here. I am proud of you.

Now, why did I say that? Hmm, I'll tell you why: there is so much negativity in this world, so I wanted to speak some good into your day.

I have had such a busy week with school and karate. It was such a busy week with tests and exams and even essays that I had to do. But I still told myself. "Rebekah, you've got this. Don't quit just because the exam is tough or you think you're not learning anything....don't quit. Your younger self is cheering you on."

Little me, who was abused at the young age of 3-5, is what keeps me going on the hard days.

She's in my heart saying. "Older me, keep going, please! Don't let your past knock you down!"

And I won't give up! There are days when I cry because of how busy I am (I love slow days). There are days when I am so happy that I am going to be a nurse sooo soon!

But guess what...it's making me learn so much to become a nurse. In just four weeks, I will take my last exam, and then I can start applying for jobs.

As I am getting closer to the end of classes, I can't help but feel happy tears every once in a while, I am doing this to help others in honor of my grandpa, whom I was with up to his last day. 🥺

Now, I am still working on my tea site as I am in school. I am thinking of trying to stick with my site even when I have a job, too.

So do your best and always speak kindly to not just others around you but to yourself. You should be kind to yourself.

Have a great Sunday!

Susan

Thank you!

What a delightful message on this gloomy, rainy, chilly day that makes my chickens want to throw themselves in the pot just to get warm.

I'm excited for your graduation into the world of nursing, but by all means, keep going with WA. I mean, why not?

Have a great day, Rebekah!

Dave

Aww poor things! Lol.
Thank you so much!

Haha, I won't let them do it. They are warm enough and very spoiled, so don't worry about them. I recently bought them a 3-gallon water warmer for the coop, so they can stay inside, drink, smoke cigars, and play cards all day...

🤣
Our chickens had lots of areas to go to stay warm during winter. Our goat had lots of hay so the chickens would curl in those.

Hmm, hay... I should get ten bales or so (no goat)... I have two coops. One is too small, while the other is too big. I am thinking about making the six ladies and two gents in the small coop join the eleven new girls in the large coop, but I'm afraid of the possible mayhem of the roosting pecking order.

Lol whatever works for you.
