Cool September and cinnamon coffee cake
Today I have to work at 11, but it is now 8:28 a.m. here in Illinois. The weather has turned cool and sunny and beautiful. I put a cranberry orange cinnamon cake in the oven and it's starting to smell delicious. Isn't it amazing how the seasons change year after year, and yet they are each new and refreshing each and every time a new season arrives!
Here in south Illinois, the corn is taller than me, and there is a bumper crop of soybeans this year! I want to buy a pumpkin, put gourds in baskets, make spiced apple cider, go apple picking, go to a bonfire, and go on a bike ride. There are just not enough hours in one lifetime!
I have made some personal website accomplishments as well. I downloaded my first pictures, and added them to my very first ever post on my website. It was very exciting to see them appear on the page! (Yes, I really am this new to all of this!) Now I can't stop taking pictures. So many ideas! I have learned how to link, and the fact that I actually followed the directions and they worked is thrilling!
I am slowly going through the Wealthy Affiliate training and feel that I am definitely working towards a goal. I can see how much work it will be to keep an updated website going with relevant and interesting content! That will be a challenge I am looking forward to.
Thanks to all of you more experienced members who are so willing to give me "inside" information into this world of internet marketing. I've watched each and every video you have sent. I know there is so much more for me to learn, but I will keep going. When I make my first online $, I'm going to dance around and sing! It will be one happy day! Each step I take is one step closer to realizing a dream.
OH! There went the timer....the cinnamon cake is done!
