Promoting WA? Important Message!
I was helping out somebody in Live Chat today. It was a question about billing. When I went to my setting, before scrolling down, something caught my eye under "General Settings".
I found that my Jaaxy account was not linked to my WA account. I thought it would be done automatically somehow. If any of my referrals had upgraded their Jaaxy account to the Pro or the Enterprise, I wouldn't get paid! It wounldn't sync!
I am getting referrals to Jaaxy directly and if any of them upgrade, I'll make a commission.
But it won't work the same way with your WA referrals because you have to link your Jaaxy account to your WA account.
The Steps
1) Click on Research
2) Click on Jaaxy Dashboard
3) Click on Affiliate Program
4) Copy the numbers in your affiliate link
5) Paste it in WA General Settings (Found when you click on your profile picture, then Account Settings)
6) Click "Save Changes"
Don't miss ANY upgrades ever again!
It's crazy how much we learn, even when we're helping others out. It might seem stupid and I admit I should have known about this from before but I didn't.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to follow Step 5. Where to I find WA Settings in order to paste the copied numbers?
It's OK, I found it. I'd clicked everywhere except the profile pic.
When I checked General Settings, it was already there. I must have done it some time ago.

When you go back to the WA General Settings, as in the first picture of the blog, click on the blue "Add" and it will give you the space to paste your Jaaxy affiliate ID.
Ok no worries. I'm happy at least you had already done it and you wouldn't have missed out on your upgrades.. :)
Aww you beat me i to just recently found this out ..the cool thing is i just did a ppc campaign and when they start with wa they also become a jaxxy referral how awesome is that!!

Lol! I had to create this post as soon as I found out... Because it's crazy! I wouldn't get my commissions if my WA referrals upgraded their Jaaxy membership...
No matter.. :) As long as one of us did it.

Same thing happened to me yesterday while I was also helping somebody in live chat. I figured I should have known that already and just expected my link to be there. Felt a bit embarrassed because I've been here for 5 years and just now realized this. Now I am wondering how much I missed out on. I learn something new everyday.
Yea I kind of felt embarrassed and kinda stupid.. lol..
But you're right, we learn something new every day... :) And I guess that's a perk to helping others out..
