Going Premium

So just for context, I remember a friend telling me about Wealthy Affiliate a while ago. To be completely honest, I was so busy in my life at the time that I never even gave this program the light of day. It was all out of ignorance and focusing on other things I though was important.

What's really interesting is that I am at a cross road in life. I recently relocated from my island home to the desert. Talk about a change of scenery ha? I have been taking the move with a very positive attitude and I continued to keep my mind open to all possibilities.

I'm not sure how I got redirected back to WA but it came up somehow again during my time online. It has been so long since my friend last told me about it but when I came back to the site, I immediately remembered that this was the site I was recommended to visit a long time ago.

Once I connected the dots, I dove deep into the program and went full force into the free starter program. I think I was in to the 2 or third lesson and I was so inspired and motivated that I paid for the full year immediately.

If you are about to make the move to premium, I highly suggest you pay for the full year.

Hitting Road Blocks

I was convinced that I was going to breeze through the training because I have been building sites outside of wealthy affiliate with drag and drop site builder. I also thought I had a good grasp on how online marketing work...but boy was I IGNORANT!

I hit my first block when I was struggling so hard to pick a niche. I guess it is a common challenge when getting started in this program.

I think choosing a niche is difficult because you are figuratively and literally looking deep within yourself and finding out a little more about who you are. Overtime we think we know ourselves we run into these seemingly simple questions and it causes us to reflect so deeply about who we are and what we want for our lives.

Breaking Through

I am gaining clarity as I move forward with each training. I'm not going to lie, I still am not absolutely clear on my niche but I know that if I just get moving and continue with massive action, my niche will sort its self out through the act of doing instead of just sitting static and thinking.

Don't get me wrong, I know the importance of planning and how much it can help propel me faster in meeting my goals but I am stuck and I refuse to just sit and wait for "the perfect idea" to hit me. I'm going to get to work and when "the perfect idea" hits, I'll pivot and adapt and focus. For now, its massive action!

Pile On The Little Wins

I know my exact niche is getting closer to me and it keeps getting clearer to me the more I work on my site and the training.

In the mean time, I'm doing my best to pile on little wins to help keep me motivated.

I have been creating a blog every time I am prompted by the training and it has been helping grow my confidence in researching and writing my content. LITTLE WIN

I noticed my ranking was in the 6 digits. It was a personal goal of mine to break into the 5 digit ranking by the end of June. I was so happy when I woke up today and noticed that my ranked was already in the 5 digits, to my surprise. LITTLE WIN

I am back to building momentum in getting my training done after a few major blocks. There were a few lessons I was stuck for a few days on 1 lesson and it happened a few times. To say I was frustrated would be an understatement. I have high standards for myself and I expected to be a lot further by now. Either way, I continue to move through the training and I am gaining so much valuable knowledge. LITTLE WIN.

For anyone who isn't premium I would say stop wasting time as I did! Take the program seriously. Hold your self to a high standard. Invest in yourself and get to work!
