The year of one more shot

It is barely February and I am already feeling like 2018 is going to be different. Why? Because this is the first year I have taken action on my "someday dreams".

I hired a trainer, and I am hitting the gym. I am learning more about fitness and nutrition. And this is huge after so many failed attempts. I was terrified to try again, but I realized that it all comes down to a million tiny choices, not one big moment and I have to start making those choices now.

The same can be said for this program. I have tried a few programs before. They turned out to be a lot of promise with very little value and I left them disheartened and feeling scammed.

I don't even know how I ended up here, but there is a little voice in me telling me to give it a go again. It's the same voice that told me to hire the trainer... and the same one that keeps me going to that gym. It's the voice that says "give it one more shot and just see what happens".

So, that is what I am doing. I am going to give it one more shot. The best shot I can. I am going to devote myself to learning and then taking action in these areas and I am believing it will change my life.

And I hope in a year I read this post and feel grateful, because it was worth it.
