Update: Week One. Now what?
So, here I am hitting my first week of having my own websites. How Exciting!!
I'm having a lot of fun with it but man is it a lot of work. I've put a lot of time into my sites and I couldn't be happier with the outcomes I've gotten thus far.
My websites are a pretty simple format, just a regular blog of information. No real fancy buttons or widgets. I like the simplicity of it. I feel there is a lot less confusion in what the person is searching for because it is all right on the main page.
I've got a google add just sitting out there for people to find and with everyday more and more people find my site. (That's great to see). I'm up to about 40 clicks a day. That's good right?
Google Analytics - daily observation of who and how many people visit me.
Google Adworks - love putting my ad on google
Google adsense - waiting on approval (should be getting paid for clicks)
Linkshare. - Thousands of different ads to put on your site to make money
Amazon affiliate - Most of my links to sell items come form Amazon, I love amazon.
(Everyday I'm closer to making my first dollar.)
Where should I go next? Any tips or pointers?
