I attempted to signup as an affiliate marketer with cabelas this morning but was immediately rejected. it looks like the reason may be the state
where siterubix is hosted.
I was denied for Verizon, but I was not given a reason. I think my site was way too underdeveloped at the time. I guess this speaks to me not rushing things! Keep at it, you will find something soon.
Yeah, some companies just don't see the future in a sparsely populated website - another hurdle for us speed junkies to overcome, lol.

The hosting location shouldn't be an issue. The state you live in might be, however. I received a dear john letter from Amazon after my state was removed from their list.
