Okay so I joined their program and have used a link in a review I completed. Here is the process I went through. Sorry it's lengthy. But just for the links I didn't have to add any thing to my site.
Hope this helps:
Okay from your desktop go to
https://partnernetwork.ebay.com/smart-share
Click “get smart share” it should take you to the Chrome Web Store and you need to add the ebay smart share extension to your Chrome toolbar.
Once you add it you should see the in the top right corner. That’s how I knew mine was added.
Step 1: Download your campaign file from the Smart Share page within the EPN Portal
1. Click the hyperlink.
2. If you haven’t logged in, you’ll be at the login screen. Please log-in, and either go to https://epn.ebay.com/smart-share from this document or return to your eBay browser screen and click “Smart Share Page” again.
3. A new browser window opens to the right page, our Smart Share landing Page.
4. You’ll see a button called “Grab Your Campaigns.” Click it.
It downloads a TXT document named “EPN_Campaings_YEARMODA_Number” to your standard download location.
Now you’re ready for Step 2!
Step 2: Upload your campaign file here.
a. Go back to your eBay window with the Smart Share overlay.
b. Click “Upload” which is available under “Step 2.”
c. A file browser window opens on your computer. You’ll see the file you just downloaded. If you have several different campaign downloads, you may want to sort by day and time to ensure you have the most recent.
d. Double click on the correct file.
e. The name of the file appears in the overlay. You now have the option to “Continue>” You’ve uploaded it successfully!
f. Click on “Continue.”
If anything is wrong with the file (wrong file, wrong format, or other error), the “Continue” option will not appear. See if the answer to your issue is in our FAQs and contact us at EPN Customer Support to help .
You then search for the product you want to promote. Click on the product, then click the smart share icon that you added to chrome toolbar and a link will pop up for you to incorporate in your blog text.
