Confidence Due To The Community
Hello To All
This is my very first post. I hope it is acceptable. I've heard it is always good to know yourself. Well on of my biggest issues is to have enough confidence not to procrastinate. I'm always trying to question the pro's and con's before I make a move (decision), which often slows me down or leaves at a stand still( no movement at all). Then once I believe I am making a good move then I move quickly with complete confidence.
How I Found The Community
Normally, I don't make a move because I don't know who to ask. In this day and time everyone has an opinion. All on YouTube you have lots of videos on affiliate marketing, but none on how to actually become one. Then I saw a couple of videos on Ledgendary Marketing but they wanted money and at the time I was all about free help first. So I went to Shopify( 14 day free trail) and tried to start a website and I do stress tried. They didn't have any help for me, but I found a tutorial on YouTube. I was thinking now all have to do is put products on my site, so I Googled Walmart Affiliate. There were several choices to choose from but one said I can help to become......., so I picked that one and landed on the Wealthy Affiliate site and haven't regretted yet.
Next, I don't make a move because I don't know what to ask beyond what is and how to. When, I first started 2 weeks ago fear began to set in and I began to question can I really do this. The free introduction course eliminated all that fear. I became a premium member in 2 days leaving the other 5 days on the table. The first course had me feeling like I was ready. I work a lot at Chedder's as a server and I am very active at my church, but every free moment I have I'm back at my training.
Finally, I lose momentum once big results don't appear. So I stop moving, but with the Community I am confident I won't have that problem. I am amazed by how easy everything is, and in those times I don't understand there are videos I can review, a help center, and over a 100,000 premium members ready and willing to help. I am inspired daily by the members testimonies of success great and small, I'm encouraged to see my rankings come from 101,845 to 83,712, and I am refreshed and recommitted everyday I see new members joining.
My Greatest Moves So Far
My greatest move in life will always be becoming a family man. Raising a family with my lovely wife was the best decision I every made. That choice gave me responsibility and taught me how to be more loving, which, leads me to my second most important decision. Becoming a Christian and having a relationship with God. Yeah, I know it should have been the other way around, but I didn't get a true relationship with God until He had to teach how to love better, how to raise a family, how to be a better husband, etc. My next greatest move was joining the military. I went from being the only child to having millions of Army bothers and sisters. They taught me unity, reinforced my values, and gave me courage to choose not to quit because of those that are counting on me/ us.
I now believe being a Wealthy Affiliate member will be one of my greatest moves in life because it has already given me the confidence to not procrastinate on improving the rest of my life.
