What do I need to become an affiliate?

Really?!? I only have 4 post at the moment but I was about to start on my first product reviews so should I leave them blank or try and go with someone else?
Adding on to that last question my product review was going to be on a watch and nearly all affiliation seems to go through commission junction.
Are you planning to review a product for which you already have an affiliate link? If so, go ahead and write your review. It's just that some affiliate networks like to see a site with a good amount of content before they will accept you.
No I haven't applied to affiliate with any companies yet, Unfortunately I feared that may be the case and I didn't want to waste time writing these reviews if it may not lead anywhere
Hi steveo5770, some things related to this are also unclear to me. Rallytime writes above: I didn't want to waste time writing these reviews if it may not lead anywhere.". So indeed how exactly to start. It looks to me that one MUST invest time and write those reviews as a start, without any affiliate links attached. Just an investment for future. Do I understand this correctly? Regards. Jovo
Here's what you could try. Go ahead and write the review and possibly link to the manufacturer. This means you won't be eligible for a commission at first but, the article will take time to be indexed and ranked anyways.
If you have a review that is getting traffic, it's harder for an affiliate program to reject you. Reviews are where the majority of my traffic comes from so I would always suggest writing reviews.
That and Im sure it adds to the experience of the site. I will complete the reviews and start building traffic. Thanks for the help Steve.

Its not allowing me to make many changes on my home screen, where all my blogs are posted. I know how to go into the customizer and change background images and so forth, but ho
If you are talking about having an image to the left of your blog. On your post in the editing page on your right side towards the bottom you will see an area to add an image that is it. Just remember all your blogs should be post not pages if you do not already know this.
Sorry I didn't get back to you Tommy, but thank you. You answered my question perfectly. I was just looking in the wrong place.

I would wait until I had at least 20 - 25 pages/posts before applying with them.
