Me, Myself and I
Crossed path with a family of otters during my brisk walk this afternoon. They are our city state adored mammals that have grown in population in recent years. Found them sandbathing, playing and running across the cycling track to 'migrate' to the other side of the river enclave. The rain that poured around noon made our hot humid weather hospitable for an afternoon walk. The breeze was amazingly strong and cool and I thank God for that as I had initial doubts to leave the house in the middle of the day.
Needed to get out of the house to clear my head. Life got really busy by Friday and weekend especially packed with activities with family and friends. We want to live with Covid as an endemic here (as our new normal) so I guess socialising just has to continue but with mask and social distancing in place. But this afternoon as I write this blog eating 'Satay' alone @Satay by the Bay (note: no crazy person would eat satay alone but this is my Me, Myself and I moment), it gives me some time to express my thoughts and feelings on how grateful I am to life, friends and my WA community.
My WA training stopped for 2 days now (with guilt that I profess this) and intend to get back on track later this evening when the weekend is over, God willing. Nothing kills creativity like mundane can. But too much of activities can also block inspiration and determination! But I had fun over the weekend and I hope we all did in our own ways.
But spending time alone is important to me.
Love
~Rah

It's good to take breaks with oneself . Don't feel guilty about not being on the training because when you get back it will be with more drive and energy. This is defintely the time to appreciate nature and all God's creatures :)
Alone time is so important. I spent 2 hours on the beach today (we're enjoying beautiful Spring weather here) and I find possible business plans drifting through my head as I sunbathe. Then a dip in the ocean and body-surfing a couple of waves really clears the mind.
I envy you the otters but we have wallabies, echidnas and platypus to enliven our bush walks.
What a beautiful day you are having! I am jealous too of your body-surfing and your wallabies, echidnas and platypus!!!
