What Comes Natural ?

This is not going to be your regular sort of blog because I"m really just sort of talking to myself out loud.

All through my life I've been a fast learner I mean for instance I've worked at a convenience store one year trying to learn something besides construction and when I did the training I got lasted one day, now this training usually lasts a week for everyone else. I say usually because there are people that finish quicker and people that it takes longer.

Back to where I was anyway I trained for one day then the next day I went to work on the grave yard shift by myself and worked there for a year to the day the same way. I quit by the way because I couldn't make enough money to support myself.

I also worked at a roof deck manufacturing plant and worked my way up to where I was running an overhead crane loading semi truck trailers with roof decks and unloading rolls of sheet metal iron rail cars. The person training me showed me the way the controls work one time that was it.

Now with this crane we only had a set of hooks that were about 3 feet apart and some of these bundles of decks, which were metal and very heavy, were sometimes 45 feet long so you had to get the hooks right in the middle of the bundle.

Not only that but the hooks were hanging with a cable from the crane above so when you picked them up and started to move they would start to swing so you had to work the buttons on the controls in a way to not make them swing, like I said he showed me once.

Then in the natural progression of things I had to teach someone else how to do the same thing, well the boss made me follow and train this guy for a week so I did then one day after about a week I didn't follow him up onto the trailer figuring he had enough training.well I guess I was wrong because he got the load swinging and to stop it he dropped the controls and -

tried to steady it with his hands "WRONG" needless to say he dropped the load, could have killed himself or someone else. Boy did I catch hell for that.

Also, when I started plastering I had already been a laborer for a few years and then one day when the boss went to do something else I picked his tools up off the mud board and started doing what he was doing just like everybody else was doing and from that time on I was a journeyman plasterer and I did it for over 35years.

The reason that is different is because becoming a journeyman plasterer takes 4 years of apprenticeship and that comes along with 4 years of college which I never did, it just seemed to come naturally to me.

The same with hanging Sheetrock which is what I did for about 10 years before I started plastering.

Anyway what I'm getting around to is this affiliate marketing is a horse of a different colour. The things you need to learn are endless and once you learn the basics you haven't even started.

See what I mean I don't know how I got that cartoon in the middle of my blog but there you go.

None of this comes natural to me and that part up there is not what I meant. To give you the readers digest version it's all very much a learning experience.

Well that's about what I was thinking so what do you think ?
