So Much Too Sort
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
Thought that I would write this tonight as I am fairly busy on both Saturday and Sunday.
Tomorrow I will be taking my son, youngest grandson and eldest great-grandson to football.
On Sunday as Chairman of the local Branch of the Royal British Legion I have been commanded by HM The Queens' Lord Lieutenant to attend a service in Derby Cathedral, at which the nine founding Branches from the County will be re-dedicated. Ours being one of them, that fact I am particularly proud of, as we were once a mining village, not a garrison town. Should mention that all nine Branches are celebrating their 100th Anniversaries.
So will have to don my gear, including my bowler and spend Sunday afternoon in Derby, instead of having my nap. You are allowed to smile, if only a little.
The Past Few Days
Last week I did say that I would carry on sorting through all my products, books and anything else that I could find to hopefully get them filed, thus allowing me to sort out the business in a more orderly fashion.
The title to this blog says it all, did realise that I was setting myself an almost mamouth task, but do not think that I realised just how mamouth.
Have now realised that the only way that this will work is to go through just about each item in every file as I come to them, seeing if they can be used or not.
However, to enable me not to go completely off the rails, am doing the odd bit of work, such as EBook contents, or even the odd chapter. This way I am able to keep sane, at the same time know that I am actually doing something for the future planning of the business.
If it is not obvious for the reason, then let me say that if I do not do it this way I am very concerned that the business could just fade away.
THIS I WILL NOT ALLOW TO HAPPEN
Do find that I am having to be very strict with myself in not allowing either my sorting out or new additions to take over. Keeping to baby steps and time allowance for each item. The majority of the time is being spent on sorting out.
Did have an afternoon at a meeting for Remembrance Sunday, this was via Zoom, a lot discussed but I still find it strange talking to a screen. However it is much better to be safe than sorry.
Have managed an hour or two in the garden today, I think that a flame thrower might be more use, but we will see.
Have been able to add a "throw a way" to my file on the ready to go file, every little bit helps.
Thought of the Week

Another true saying, you must have a destination in mind, or a target of what you wish to achieve or aim for.
Sincere apologies if I do repeat some of these quotes, I seem to have forgotten to record what I have used over the past few weeks.
The Next Few Days
All being well, I intend to carry on with sorting everything out, also adding odd new content or other bits to help with the business, once I get sorted completely.
It would be very easy for me to get down, given the amount of work that I am trying to undertake, seeing also the lack of progress on the business front. Appreciate that I am very impatient at times, but find that I must keep motivated just to avoid things drifting.
With the amount of sorting out that I am doing it is obvious that I have allowed myself to be spread far to thin in the past, trying to do this, then that and not finishing anything. Hence the reason for the sort out, then hopefully I will be able to concentrate on one subject at a time, going forward in an orderly manner.
Conclusion
My comments in the last paragraph probably sum up how things are at the moment.
Despite how this blog appears, I am really upbeat with how things are going, refusing to knuckle under, but do appreciate that this task must be continued until it is finished. This will then allow me to make some serious decisions regarding the direction that the business will take in the future. Not forgetting what material that I will have available.
Think, that if I am honest, I do have a pretty good idea, but am having to be very strong to ensure that I reach my goal of completely getting sorted out first.

Stuart, I'm in need of sorting pictures from phone and PC.
I'm not sure I'll start this task, as yet, as I could be sorting 'til doomsday!
I did sort out all my notebooks, however and know which one's contain what.
Organization makes life easier!
Why spend and hour of writing time looking for the picture??

I have something going on every single day with multiple things in some days. All this leading up to me heading back to NY at the end of the month. 😒
It seems like the days flash by. However, it sounds like neither of us are ever bored. Overwhelmed at times but not bored.
Last night I was looking for a specific photo in my back room. Well, I opened up Pandora's box!!!!!! I didn't realize how BADLY that room needs to be organized. It now looks like a hurricane went through it. 😓
I'm sure you've had those days that you just don't know what to do first! I know screaming is the first reaction but after that. 😆

Have to confess that it was a superb afternoon. seeing lots of old friends from my days when I was more involved all over the County.
The buffet and wine were quite good as well, just a good job that I was not driving. Have a bottle of Merlot for tonight!
No what you mean about spare rooms, my ole office neds a complete sort out, have been told by LW that it is a disgrace, surly it is not that bad!!
It would appear that we are just two very busy people!
