Making a Mind Map
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
To some of you the title might seem a little strange as you possibly already have one, but a little word of explanation is required.
As you are aware I have been using a blank A3 sheet of paper to plan what I would like to achieve with my new plans for the website. Looking at the plan the other night, with lines going everywhere. I had a flash of inspiration, mind map. My entries looked just like one, so why not create one on the computer?
Took a look at what was available to buy or download for free that just required a tweak, being totally honest, not only did nothing inspire me, but nothing was suitable for what I wanted.
So, it was on with the thinking cap, why not use a blank page on the computer and design my own. This is exactly what I have done, using a colour code to indicate content, product, affiliate links and other needed indicators. The codes also indicate the state that I am on that particular item, such as completed.
The result is something that I can look at and move about as required.
As you will read in the next section, I have also been very active in other areas.
The Last Few Days
Unlike the last few week's, I have done no decorating. On Monday I was in some discomfort with my neck and shoulders, attempting to start on the ceiling. it became obvious that it was not a good idea, unless I wanted to cause myself a real problem.
The reason for the problem, a bad road accident many years ago, coupled with many years of sport. Hopefully I will be able to get things finished this week.
Decided to spend the week, looking at what was needed on the website, coupled with a lot of reading, product designing, content writing and training. Must be honest I have had an absolute ball doing these things.
The Next Few Days
Now that I have spent a week getting myself up to date with various activities. it is obvious that this is the way that I must go to make sure that my website is good enough to attract visitors.
Do appreciate that it in some ways it will mean that I may not be over activate on improving the website but am hopeful that with my new attitude that I will be able to actually see some progress.
Will also attempt to finish off the decorating.
Conclusion
Must confess that I was surprised how much reading that I have done, also how much good that it has done me. It never ceases to amaze me, no matter how long I have been on the internet there is always something new to learn.
Have had some fun sorting out some products which I will be able to offer with the content when the time is right.
Being honest must confess I am a lot happier with how to present my content having read some of the books.

Hi RAF, I am new here and just been reading through some of your blog posts over the past four years and am looking to learn from people like you.
How many websites do you have up and running and posting regular content on? I can't make it out from your blog posts.
At the moment I am going through a complete revamp of my business, will be launching a new website in the next few weeks I hope, this will eventually link my other sites, sadly neglected, together if I get things right.
I have some problems in the last year or so, so I am hoping to get back on track, many thanks for your interest.

Another week zipped by in the blink of an eye. I've been hit with a head cold though and have been down a lot. It's taken a toll on my energy level. I think I've been trying to do a lot each day and not taking enough time to eat right or resting.
Man, "Mind Map" took me back. Haven't done one of those in YEARS. I always they were fun to do though. They always helped me get focused and put structure in my activity.
It sounds like you're doing well. Congrats on your new high rank by the way. As long as we live, we will ALWAYS learn something new everyday if we even put a smidgen of energy into that endeavor. Keep up the good work!
