Lots of EMails!
Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family as always I do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well!
It is not unusual for me to say that the title this week could have been a number of things, but thought that as I have been having a lot of trouble trying to sort out my emails that this title would fit the bill.
It maybe obvious but I have somehow finally got my emails working, I will not bore you with the detail in how I got there, in fact if truth be told I am not even sure myself, but at least I am able to communicate once more.
The title should now be clear, having been without access to my mails for a number of weeks the unopened number of mails was in the housands, these I am trying to sort out when I have the chance! The problem arises when I not only have to check the content of the mail but also have to reply to them!!
The Past Few Days
It was only about Wednesday that I became able to open my mails, so I have done a few things this weeek, I started to have a good go in the garden, the trough and trellis which I built before I went to Torquay now has a Jasmine planted in it, looks as if it will be a real feature when it matures, it has just started to flower, lovely pale lemon flowers, not sure if it has any scent or not as yet.
Talking of scent when I go down the garden in the Evening the Honeysuckle and Mock Orange fill the air with their scents, really making it pleasant to walk past them, enabling me to ignore all the weeds! Must be honest the last few days, apart from watering I have done very little in the garden I have had one of those cannot be bothered moods, really wishing that I was back in Torquay, I have had a little look to see about another few days away as it would be Yvonne's birthday a week on Wednesday, and I am not sure how I feel about being here, but I will see. I suppose if I am totally honest I am just beginning to realise that she has gone, even then not all the time! I expect that this is a normal reaction, but of course I am still getting used to life on my own.
I did have a very bad day yesterday, in the finish I did something that I rarely do I went upto the Pub, it is only a couple of hundred yards up the road, my Son was in there which I checked first, ended up singing some five of my old numbers.
The change of the interface on the site has given me some fun finding what is where, still not sure that I really do know, it does look a lot more organised, but time will tell as far as I am concerned!
I have done a little training and research, still not sure how I am going to proceed with which website, but if I can just get rid of this back log of mails, it should give more time to concentrate on the business, not forgetting the mountain of weeds!!
Forgot to mention last week that when I got home the first Raspberry had ripened, as a result I have had Raspberries every day for my desert, with enough already in the fridge for next week. They are very nice with a scoop (OK two scoops) of a flavoured Ice Cream. When I was in Farm Foods a week or two ago, found one that had a Cappucino flavour, it really was superb, have also bought one or two other varieties.
The Next Few Days
Loooking at the calendar I have a Legion Committee Meeting on Tuesday, we have a Men's T20 on Thursday and a Women's T20 on Friday, so that will be a change as I have not seen a game since before I went to Torquay, and I do enjoy the company of my fellow members.
It will depend on my mood, but I would really like to have a good go at the garden again, also get back into doing some research and training.
As always time will tell.
Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy,
Please do take care and stay safe,
God Blees,
Stuart

Hey VH
Yes, losing email for any length of time leads to a TON of catch up and deleting. They don't stop coming, you just can't keep up with them. It does get overwhelming. I've heard of people just deleting the whole lot of them without even looking at them but I can't do that. I might miss something I want to see.
I think I've said this before but your yard sounds AMAZING. Jasmine, Honeysuckle and Raspberries.........I'd be out there all the time just smelling all the scents and eating berries. Raspberries are my favorite. They grew wild at our cottage when I was a kid and I'd eat them fresh out in the field. Who cares about a little dirt.
I get that you're just finally realizing you're alone. Part of it might be because of her birthday coming up. That might be a good day to just get away by yourself. It sounds like you enjoyed your last visit and it might be just what you need at this time. You'll know what's right.
Mmmm, now you have me thinking about ice cream and I'm trying to be good and eat a lot less sweets. I'm waiting for my tests to come back from my procedure but I know whatever the results, I need to lose weight.
SO, I guess I'll go get some reading done and distract myself. You have an amazing week!!!
Always
Your VW
Hi VW,
A good start to the day a message from you, need I say more!!
My yard (Garden) is an amazing pile of weeds and assorted rubbish, I promise myself that I WILL get there, not sure when that is the problem.
Do so hpe that your tests come back OK for you, it is a worry, just waiting. You say that you need to lose wieght, when I am stripped off (not a pretty sight) it looks as if I am seven months pregnant, I am hoping that gardening will help, but wine, ice cream, cakes and sweets are not helping!!
I have decided not to go away on Yvonne's Birthday, which happens to be the 20th Wedding Anniversary of my Son! The cost does not justify it, might just drive into the Debyshire Dales, or visit a garden centre and treat myself to Lunch!
Must confess that I have batch deleted the junk mails, trouble is I think that I could have got that wrong, also have a heck of a lot of rejected mails, must be some rubbish that I have been sent.
The Raspberries are good this year as I was not able to cut the old stems down, so they have fruited again!
Do take dear lady have a wonderful week and try not worry about the results of your tests.
Hugs and Prayers,
As always,
Your VH
Just one comment..........I DOUBT you look 7 months pregnant when you can fit into that uniform so well!!! Do continue to work in the lovely smelling garden though.
Good morning, Stuart.
My guess is that you can probably ignore/delete most of the emails. Just look out for the ones that really look important. Having too many emails can get depressing in itself. You start to feel overwhelmed and end up wasting far too much time.
A few days away next week may be a good idea. But perhaps you can go to somewhere closer than Torquay.
The weather is supposed to be really nice all week, so it would be a good idea to do a lot in the garden. I even plan to leave my laptop for a while and just sit in the garden and read, which I don't do often. Enjoy your raspberries! And the ice cream, which sounds delicious.
Yes, the new interface here needs a bit of getting used to, but, as you say, it's much better organised now, and I've actually quite enjoyed discovering new things while looking around.
Have a good week. Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, and look forward to your next update on Sunday.
Take care.
Isabella
Good Morning Isabella,
Do tend to quickly delete most of the mails, a quick glance at the title or sending is usually enough.
If I go away it will be to somewhere close by.
Still feel very bogged down, but I will get there.
Take care,
Stuart

Boy can I understand about the being away from the emails and catching up. I was away from my emails for 8 days and when I came back I had 2987. I am actually going through them right now. I still have 1012 left to go through.
I am one that can't just delete the whole lot of them because I may miss important emails like this one because I want to respond too.
I am sorry you are on your own but sometimes it is beneficial to be around friends and to just get out of the house. I hope you find ways to deal with it.
And you BE HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND WEALTHY ALSO!!
neal,
Many thanks for this, these mails do cheer me up.
Stuart
