Some Progress

Introduction

Good Afternoon to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope thatyou are all keeping both safe and well.

Thought that I would make a start on this weeks blog before I have my Sunday Lunch as it is a fairly simple one this week, OK it is almost one of those bang it in the microwave and sit and eat it. A ready done Steaklet, Chips and Beans, followed by sliced Peaches and Toffee and Vanilla Ice Cream, with a Cheese Board to follow. I will have a cup of Vegeatble Soup to start, in fact I am drinking it whilst I type this. I find it easier with a single packet, a tin is too much, and I have not made any soup since well before Yvonne passed away. Really ought to start doing my own again.

The Last Few Days

First of all may I thank most sincerely all of you who sent me messages to get well soon, I am pretty much over the worst of it, at least I hope so! Did sleep and rest a lot last week, which I think helped me to recover.

Whlist I did not venture into the garden as it was far to wet, did manage to get going on some aspects of the business. Following suggestions from some of you, I have had another look at one of the books that I started and did some additions to it.

The major work however is making a start on the cooking website, given that a number of people have asked when will I launch it, gave it a good look. OK I do have basic time table drafted for a years worth of content, this is mainly blank at the moment with just the week numbers on it and the odd suggested content title. I realised that it would help if I built a list and directed people to the website when it was launched, to this end I have started to work on a lead magnet or 'Freebie', decided to write a small booklet on a subject within my cooking remit, have only done the cover at the moment , I will work on the layout and content next week.

But at least I am heading in the right direction, well at least I hope so.

My Eldest Great Grandson passed his driving test last week at the first attempt, he also has been accepted into Derby University for his teaching degree, was very pleased when he said the they have offered him a years extension to take his Masters. We did have along conversation sometime ago when he asked for my advice, I told him then that it would be good if he could go on and do his Masters, thinking of the future for him.

The Next Few Days

Having read the previous section, it is fairly obvious that I will be working on my lead magnets, however having let things slide a little in the house and garden, I have decided that the business will be done in the Evenings, OK may watch a little TV, with the daytime devoted getting things back to normal in the house.

Having read the previous paragraph will also study list building I need to be really aufait with this if I am to make a sucess of the website whrn it is launched. This will include begining to do some de-cluttering!!

Conclusion

I am beginning to get hungry so will close for this week. In some ways I am pleased with what I have achieved this week, it finall y looks as if I am beginning to get to grips with things.
