Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well. The title says it all, it has taken me all evening to even feel like sitting down to type this weeks few notes. In fact I had my afternoon nap, cleared some of the inbox, then made a light meal.

On a Sunday we do not tend to have heavy meals in the evening due to a really good Sunday lunch. I had some bacon left over from yesterday, so I nipped to the shop this morning and bought some fresh mushrooms. Cooking the bacon in the air fryer, the mushrooms in a pan, when cooked put them between two slices of toast, absolutely delicious.

Sat in my chair to watch a little TV whilst I drank a cuppa, guess who woke up over an hour later. The programme that was on was on the wild life of Trinidad, I found this fascinating, until I forced myself to get organised and write this.

Many thanks to those who commented on my problems last week, always much appreciated.

The Last Few Days

Like last week I have not really done what I intended to do, I take a lot of getting going, in part due to my health or muscle problems.

Did manage to come up with some ideas for products for the future, however as per last week, they were only ideas, but try harder this week.

Have continued to file away items as I have come to them, some of which I really want to study.

The problem that I have is still lack of concentration, no doubt the weather can be blamed as we have had the first frosts of the year.

As part of being involved with Civic Functions I went to the switching on off the local Town's Christmas Lights, it was, as usual a pleasant evening, the Merlot was a good vintage, which always helps.

Attending this did mean that I could not take the lads to foorball, the first time for ages, still even I cannot be everywhere.

The Next Few Days

It will depend on if I can get my act together once more and begin to do some useful work. The intention is always there, it is getting the energy to do it that I find to be a problem.

Think that if I think about it properly then I should be able to get back to basics, as I feel that this might be one way to get myself going again. It concerns me that if I walk away from it all for a week or so, that I might not be bothered to start it again, which will be a toal waste of all my past efforts,

Having just read the last paragraph again it is almost a ramble, think that I really do need a break, or just a few days off. As it is almost late on a Sunday Evening, will have a ponder tonight and tomorrow and see what I come up with.

Conclusion

Think that I have covered this section in the last paragraph, so we will have to try hard to sort out my problem.

Be Happy, Healthy and Wealthy.

Please do stay safe,

God Bless

Stuart

Hey VH

Sounds like you need some motivation. I wish we could buy that. I'd put it on my Christmas list. Sometimes you just need a BREAK though. You're right about taking too long of a break though. It's a fine balance I think.

I was REALLY busy last week trying to get a lot done before I went to meet my grands for a couple days. It was fun but COLD and they wore me out!!!! I had to sugar up to get myself home and not fall asleep driving. I'm glad it was my daughter's birthday and I made her cupcakes! I've attached a pix of me and my grands. One is taller than me and the other 2 are close!!!!!! lo

This week is just about as busy but then it's the season for that. I know I overdo and this year, I really did bite off a little more than I can chew. I'm giving it my all though!!!!! This too shall pass right?

Well, let's each take a deep breath, regroup and get moving................have a great week!!!

Always

Hi VW,

Gl;ad the you were able to spend sometime with your daughter and grandchildren. Lovely photo of the four of you.

I think that you are like me you do too much, trouble is, unless I have a book to read, or a TV programmes, then I just cannot sit still, I have to be on all the time.

At the moment my left arm is almost useless today, but I still managed to do the shopping!!

I am learning to live with my aches and pains, with being used to being very active, I find it hard at times.

But I will continue to fight.

Have a great week.

As always,

Sorry about the aches and pains. I know they should be expected as we age but I reject that idea in my mind. My body will tell me otherwise I'm sure. I've heard it said that "Aging is Not for Sissies" I bet that was spoken like a person that was fighting their body and maybe even mind.

Regardless, we are both still blessed that we have bodies that can still get us around, minds that still function well, food to eat and roofs over our head. Many younger than us don't. So, we must look at the positive and be grateful.

Take care of yourself!

You are a star, what a great and thoughtful reply, which I totally agree with. Was aware that as I age this could happen, just tried to put it to the back of my mind!

Look after yourself and have a great weekend when it arrives.

Stuart, My friend, you sound exactly like I do when I wake in the morning. As you said, it seems as though all my energy has left my body(the energy has left the building, in my case, my body) It will take you a positive mind set to go forth and be productive for the day and evening. I have said in the pass, when you encounter an obstacle, go over or around it. Do not tell yourself, well I did try, but I have come to a stop and I cannot over come it! Don't do that to yourself. Where there is a will there is a way, my friend. Think about it, and overcome. Have a great Monday.
