Introduction
Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as usual do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well.
Must confess that I did smile when I read this possible weeks title, it reminded me of my trip back from Torquay, the number of times that I saw the sign about a " Welcome Break", did get a little tired so I had two stops to refresh my tired eyes. On one stop did come across a most amazing Farm shop, full of all sorts of goods, very expensive though.
The drive must have tired me out more than I thought as this morning after my morning coffee I sat in my chair and woke up over an hour later!! Must explain that I did have to drive for around an hour through heavy rain and poor visibility. Then I was stuck on the M42 for an hour due to an accident up ahead, still sitting still did enable me to have my lunch before I got home.
The first thing that I did on arriving home after putting the kettle on, was to have a look at the garden and my plants. Pleased to say that the rain had looked after everything, in fact some of the water containers were so full that I had to empty them.
The one problem is that the rain has made the garden look more overgrown than ever, the weeds have just gone mad. The one good thing was some more flowers have started to bloom in Sammy's garden, they look really nice amongst the weeds!!
This evening I did manage to sort out one of the paths which was once more overgrown, this time with ferns. I should explain the left hand path, going down the garden has a small soil bed running down one side along next doors wall, it is only some fifteen inches wide, almost in the dark, in this I have planted a number of ferns, I think that there are some nine differing types. They are doing well, in fact so well that I have to trim them back tonight to stop them blocking the path, without doing so causes me to get soaked when I walk down the path after rain.
The Last Few Days
Do realise that I have already covered some of this so forgive me rambling.
The holiday in Torquay has done me a lot of good, being able to walk along the seashore, breathing in the air as the tide came either in or out made me feel so refreshed.
One of the reasons behind me choosing Torquay was the number of happy holidays that we had together when Yvonne was alive, I decided to scatter some of her ashes on one of our favourite places this I managed to do.
It was surprising how many people that I spoke to that were really kind, it did help me a lot, did a lot of walking, also some sketching, which I still enjoy doing.
Took my laptop and did have a play with writing some content, just to give me some idea of what I want to do with my websites.
Otherwise it was just a restful break which I needed.
The Next Few Days
I think that the main job this week will be to sort out the garden, do also hope to have a look at doing some work on the business, not forgetting that I have promised to help my Grandson sort out a website and help him to write a blog.
I notice that I have no cricket or Legion on the planner, so that should make for a change.
Do have a wonderful week, hope to be back next Sunday.
Please do stay safe,
Take care,
God Bless,
Stuart

Literally made me LOL when I read you poured your coffee and woke up an hour later. Thanks for that!

Hello Stuart,
It's good to read your update. Glad that you enjoyed your holiday in Torquay and that it did you good.
We did have some heavy showers, and getting caught in one of these showers while driving must have been tiring.
We've been glad to get the rain but feel we've had enough now for a bit and it would be nice if it could be warm and sunny again. According to the weather forecast it is supposed to get warmer again. With no cricket and no meetings to attend, you should be able to get things done in the garden.
Have a great week.
Isabella
Hi Isabella,
We did need the rain, but afes days sun would be nice.
Take care and may you also have a great week.

Hey VH
Glad you're home. Driving always tires me out. It's not something I enjoy doing. There are so many crazy drivers on the road now. There seems to be an extraordinary number of truck accidents lately too. Rain does not help!
See, Mother Nature took care of your plants while you were gone. She watered them for you. Same here though. I haven't been out to water in a couple days. Some of the storms have been pretty loud with heavy downpours. It's ok as long as I'm inside. š
It sounds like a good week and one that you really needed. It takes time to get back on your feet after what you went through. Working in the garden will be good as well.
I'm on a fast today. I can only have clear liquid. I have a minor procedure tomorrow morning so if you think of it, send up a prayer. It makes me a little nervous but I'll keep the faith.
Well, you take care for the rest of the week. Good luck with your grandson. That will be some great bonding time!
Always

Hi VW,
Great to hear from you just beore I go to bed. Debs, you will certainly be in my prayers for your procedure tomorrow, do so hope it goes OK.
Must confess that the holiday did me good in a number of ways, as I looked at the seafront on my last night, thought I will be back, just love it in Torquay, even looked at the price of property, could afford a one bedroom flat if I sold here, but I would be away from my family, friends and hobbies, at my time of life no thanks. Also there is no way that I would fit all my stuff into a one bedroom flat!
Also no garden, there is only so much sun bathing and sea watching that you can do even if I took all my artist gear, but then where would that go?
Still getting used to being back so very little work done, except a second load of washing, one more to do, then my holiday will be all washed up!
Do agree regarding the drying aspect, have to wait for todays to dry so that I can do the next load?
Think that I will browse the computer, whilst listening to a classical concert on the TV, and enjoying a glass of Malbec.
Take care dear lady, may God be with you tomorrow and always.
God Bless.
Your VH
