A Very Busy Few Days.

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the Great WA Family, as always I do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well, must confess that I am beginning to feel a tad worn out what with being so busy and the heat. I always keep a few bottles of squash in the fridge, only small ones to take with me to Football, I was so hot when I got back yesterday that they now are all gone. Even my fruit juice container is nearly empty!

At least these last three days have been very interesting, if, in some cases quite emotional., but life can do that to us cannot it not!

The Last Few Days.

When I was walking round the garden I noticed my large Mock Orange in the Shrubbery was really flowering well and the scent from it is quite superb.

I do have a lot to do but if it cools down a little I could just find an awful lot to do, but we will see as usual.

Realising that it is going to be some time before I can get the ground ready to enable me to plant the roses, I have found a couple of really deep plant pots, so I have planted the two bare rooted plants in them, we will just have to hope that they establish in the pots ready for when I have the ground ready.

The funeral on Thursday went very well, with a good attendance, the Royal Marine Bugler was superb and added to the occasion, must confess to a tear when I got up and realised that it was Yvonne's 80th Birthday, I could not get Red Roses, so I bought Yellow ones her other favourite colour. I asked the Lady who was representing the Royal Navy if she was going to the reception, could I have a lift, which she agreed to do. I only live a mile from the venue so I know that I can walk it easily, however when I was ready to leave my "Driver" said that she would not allow me to walk that far in the heat, yes it was hot, must confess that I was very grateful.

Whilst I remember my main meal today was: Fruit Juice, Ready Chicken Dinner followed by Tiramisu, very pleasant.

On Saturday it was the Annual Freedom Parade for the local Air Training Corps Squadron, I went as usual to greet and assist the Lord Lieutenant, it was as always a really nice occasion.

This was followed today by the Squadron's Open Day, the highlight being a flypast by a Dakota is always good to see.

At least I can now concentrate on other matters such as the business!! Having said that I did add another meal to my Cook Book.

With the heat must confess that I have spent a lot of time relaxing and reading my Kindle.

The Next Few Days

In the real world, having been so busy I have not given the next few days a great deal of thought, must fit in a shopping trip as I did not do any major shopping this week, always do keep some food in reserve so I can go a few days without bothering too much.

Will have too decide what I can do with regard to the websites, do have some ideas but do need to think about them before I start to do anything.

I am very conscious that I would like to have a real crack at the garden, the weather will no doubt have a major say in what I can do, with regard to that.
