More Progress

Introduction

Good Morning Everybody, as usual may I hope that all you lovely people at the Great WA Family are keeping both safe and well, at least the heatwave has calmed down a little as it is actually quite pleasant this morning.

As very often appears to happen in my life at the moment I did odd bits and pieces, but in my mind did not really get myself moving, or so it appears! Having said that, it is possible that as I list the odd jobs which I have managed to achieve this week that you may just disagree with me!

The Past Few Days

I have made a start designing the Kitchen Patio, must just get it down on paper then cost it, could be that it will cost more than I think! I have included an extension to the existing row of slabs, which I hope will enable me to have a small table and chairs on it, this would mean me being able to sit outside the kitchen on the patio for a cup of coffee, or even a snack, not forgetting taking my sketch pad outside. Thou in the long term I would like a similar arrangement further down the garden, near my studio so that I can paint down there, on what I tend to call my middle patio! This also needs sorting out!

I have made a start on the patio border, throwing buckets of spare water on it, this has enabled me to begin to remove some of the weeds and turn a little of the soil over. I did a little, but enough to be able to put one of my Pampas Grass in place, I am hoping to get more dug over to enable me to plant some more of the plants which I have growing in pots and wish to establish in the border.

It had been my intention to plant these plants in one of my two big borders, but thanks to the weeds and hot weather I have had to have a rethink. What I intend to do now, is sort out the kitchen patio, then work o n the larger borders, which I intend to redesign!

Just need to be careful of the cost, thou I could plan these ideas to take place over a few months or even years!!

I also have to consider that the house does need some work doing on it, having a Victorian Semi is lovely, but it does require some looking after!!

Fruit Juice

Roast Leg of Pork with Roast Potatoes and assorted Vegetables

Strawberry Eton Mess

Cheese and Biscuits.

I have not yet decided whether to have Glass of Wine with my meal at the moment.

At odd times I have been looking at some of my material which I have private label rights for, with a view to using some of them, they have given me food for thought in more ways than one!

The Nest Few Days

Do Have some things planned for the coming few days. I have an appointment with a Solicitor to morrow, to look at changes to my will (Please do not all apply at once to be included!! lol)

Also having a builder to look at my Chimney Stack this week, must have chat at the Bank on Wednesday, then we have a four day Cricket Match starting on Thursday, so tad busy, without tending to the garden and looking at various ideas which I want to make decisions on!
