A Wasted Week!

Introduction

Good Evening to all you lovely people at the great WA Family as always do so hope that you are all keeping both safe and well. As usual the title just about covers what has, or in this case what has not happened this week.

As I mentioned last week, due to cricket again on Sunday, this is being written on Saturday Evening, instead of my my usual Sunday Evening Blog, having said that it could be a rather brief blog tonight, as I do not have much to say, some of you will no doubt be pleased to hear that!!!

The Last Few Days

I will begin my mentioning a couple of things that I forgot to mention last week.

Whilst I was in Bournemouth I spent an afternoon in the Oceanarium, I found it to be one of the better such sites that I have visited over the years. The main pool has a number of different sharks in it, almost certainly the most that I had ever seen in one inland pool, amongst other species was the largest water snake that I have ever seen, at least that is what I assume it was.

A very nice Penguin Sanctuary with a number of birds covering clusters of eggs, think that they were Humbolt Penguins.

It did spend a pleasant hour or two seeing what they had to offer, better than walking for hours!!

When I came back I found that my wild Blackberries were full of fruit, to such an extent that I have spent nearly a fortnight having Blackberries with my speciality Ice Cream, a pleasant dessert each evening.

You will gather that I have not been in the mood to do a great deal this week, not for any reason, apart from sleeping a lot!

I have had a look at ideas for a couple of my websites, which I hope to develop further in the future, as with most things we will just have to see, wont we!!

I have also had time to look at the garden planning different ideas, hopefully I hope to have the energy to do some of my plans in the coming days, I certainly need to get some ground ready to plant some of my developing plants before Autumn sets in.

I did this week order a tray of a new variety of polyanthus, which I intend to plant in containers, hanging baskets and as a row in the kitchen patio bed. They are a mix of red and yellow in each flower and look very nice in the photo, just hope that the result is similar when they do flower.

The Next Few Days

Looking at my planner I do not appear to have anything planned for next week, might spend the day having a look round Derby, something that I have not done for many years, when she was well Yvonne and I spent many a happy hour looking round the shops and the markets, we often used to have lunch out as well, so I could just treat myself.

Not sure what I will do this week just yet, but as I always see we will see!
